chimichonga3 This is going to be a janky grow. Kratky method eventually being fitted into a 1 gal or 3 gal bucket/jug??? Idk yet. Sorry FastBuds for doing this to your genetics but if It goes well i will give the strain justice the right way in the future I promise.

chimichonga3 4/25 Start of First week of Veg. 4/26 put seedling in Kratky Jar under grow light at 200umol. Noticed growth was a little slow but expecting that to take off soon. 4/27 following morning when lights flipped, observed the plant to discover really dark coloration but lighter green on cotyledons. Realized I was stupid and read some nutrient misinformation meaning a seedling should not be given 1200ppm nutrient solution. Decided to dump nutrient water, brought to 230ppm and pH'd to 5.6 I'll have photos at the end of the week!💪

chimichonga3 5/3 Start of early veg, decided to wait a day after to switch water to fresh solution since i also have a dwc with lettuce growing. 5/4 Replaced nutrient solution with fresh pH’ed water to 359ppm. Light intensity remains the same in the bucket. Cotyledons started to die off. 5/5 Decided passive hydro will suck in long term, bought fungicide for both this grow and my lettuce DWC, got humidity gauges, dynabloom, and some coco pre amended with calc. Should all arrive on 5/7. No silica though for the lettuce. might have to get a fan for them. Plant started yellowing, checked jar, water level wasn’t at proper level for the roots. Got the hydrometer, fungicide and coco, decided to just repot due to how rough the plant looked. pH was at 5.6, run off came out to 5.78 ppm of 137, started low to try not to burn plant. Rockwool had a grey like fungus and roots started to darken so I'm not sure if it was the water not reaching the roots or the roots just not doing their best due to health issues. 5/8 plant still looked rough but figured it was due to a lot of factors into play. Temperature was exceeding 80 f and needed a quick solution. Had asked AI and it said to place a frozen water bottle near intake to lower temp and increase humidity. Did this around 10:40am and noticed a 10 degree difference and humidity levels rising to around 52%. Being that the bottle is less then a liter, they required two swaps prior to lights shutting off. Bottles were not fully frozen at the time of placing them so that may have played a part in the effectiveness in longetivity of the bottles "cooling effect". 5/9 plant stopped yellowing, either its getting used to the coco and the vitamins/ bacteria culture as well as the bottle helping the environment not be as hot. Good news too me, bad news for the time this grow will take.

chimichonga3 5/10 plant still is yellowing slowly, kinda doubting the bucket build. Still have to be patient on the recovery though. 5/12 plant is continuing to yellow and my coco looks like its taking forever to dry. I didn't have the fan running during the night cycle so now I am and I'm waiting to see if drying out the medium with reduce the stress from it being overly moistened. Night time humidity would soar to the high 70's. 5/14 lower leaves basically all yellowed, decided to believe that the medium was too wet and decided to repot the plant in a new coco medium and tried the ring method to encourage root growth. Had taken a peek at the root system and the root ball was still small. Hopefully I see improvement with growth and no yellowing of the top node otherwise were cooked.
Started Grow 4/18, 4/19 continued to lightly water rockwool cube with around 6.1 pH'd drinking water. Seed is currently covered in rockwool under a random grow light I have with some lettuce and basil growing. Once I see cotlydons, I will check the root structure and put the plant in a jar with low nutrient solution. Still don't have Hydroguard but will invest later on.
