This is my first dwc grow and I am always open to advice. I germinated my seeds in rockwool then I transferred them to my five gallon bucket. So far everything looks good to me.
Week 2 Plants look good to me. I took our about a gallon of the water that was .2ml/gallon each of the general hydroponics 3 parts set and calmag. I replaced it with plain water that had PH of 5.9 since my ppm went up to 750 and I think it is high. It brought the ppm down to around 563ppm and 6.1 PH. Although the PH has now went up to 6.4.
After getting more information offline i do believe my ppm is actually right on or a little low. My water was starting with 145ppm so i needed to subtract that is my understanding.
Got the PH to 5.9 for 2 days now and 650ppm. The other plant that is with it doesn't seem to be doing as good. The roots arent even coming out of the basket yet which was concerning. I was going to pull the pebbles and reset it but got half way through and decided against it for fear of hurting the plant since i did see the roots. I figure i will give it a few more days.
The plants look like they are growing good.
