to keep the humidity high i was keeping a sort of perforated plastic bag over the pot. Today i noticed that the leaves that are growing already seem burnt on the tip. What could it be? in general is it better to keep the bag or not? what can i do to improve the situation?
Get rid of the cover and let it grow normally. You're causing heat stress.
When required lightly water around the plant's drip ring, be patient and wait until it comes out of it.
The plant grows the way it wants not how you want it to.
Seedlings do not need high humidity..........it is a left over concept from the 1960s when everyone thought pot was a jungle plant.
Remove the bag asap, plant will recover soon enough.
