Germination

MsStressica Popped in germination container after 18 hr soak in 1% hydrogen peroxide solution with distilled water. Why? Cuz some dude on YouTube told me to and it was backed by science and I'm desperate to not go up my first grow 🙃 This was a freebie from NASC and my first grow. Big sis is THRIVING and everything has been identical between them, from germination and soil, to water and light soooo 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ lol but free is free my guy, and this is just a little side hobby to grow alongside my veggies so I ain't mad...yet🤣

MsStressica For some reason, this one, which germinated quickly, is really struggling. When I planted it after germination, the taproot grew in a spiral/circle and the leaves wouldn't emerge from the soil 😳😳 I dug down a bit to free the leaves from the shell, and applied more soil onto the root and made sure it was getting really good contact. It finally started to grow, but wondering if that's going to make it permanently stunted. It seems like all the leaves that have emerged have looked mangled 😅

MsStressica So a couple days before transplanting, I put Nemo and her sister devil outside to get some sun. I dropped them 😑 bitch is looking ROUGH 😭 The other one survived completely unscathed, but this one took a lot of damage. Too avoid spreading any disease, and to stop the plant from directing any energy to the mutilated leaves, I trimmed off any of the ones that got damaged. It was a free seed, it's my first grow, it's only for me for fun so...IDGAF to be honest 😅🤣 Transplanted into forever home now that it's warmer out. 5 gallon equal-ish mix of leafgro, perlite/vermiculite, and coco coir, along with a bit of worm castings. I added some dry bloom organic ferts, calcium, azomite, and some mykos to the roots...just in case lol my hope is that it'll last most or nearly the whole grow on water only, but I know it's wishful thinking LMAO

MsStressica Not seeing much difference in this past week. Could be transplant shock, could be lack of nutrients or maybe I need to water more? 🤔 No clue, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. But it's not dead, so I'm winning 😁

You may be over watering her. She's at the stage now where she can stand to dry out. Even if you wilt the plant she will bounce right back so let her DRY. You can tell she is a lot less stressed right now and she is getting bigger enough to cope
