So as of writing this these seedlings have been around for about 12-13 days each. I started off these seeds on the windowsill in my bathroom just to make sure they were in a nice and humid environment.
It's been quite hot for the past couple of weeks so I'd imagine that the leaning of the Gorillaglue on the left is down to a bit of a growth spurt combined with a slight lack of light from the windowsill.
I've put them outside today just to give them a bit of extra light and wind to stimulate some healthier growth in the Gorillaglue, whose stem is unfortunately a bit too long and a bit too weak for my liking. Hopefully this stops it becoming too scrawny.
The Royal Creamatic on the other hand is doing rather decently! It seems to be handling all the varying conditions fine and should be ready to transplant and start using nutrients in a week or two.
Both of these plants will be placed back on the bathroom windowsill each night just to make sure they have the best conditions.
Feel free to leave advice/questions/tips!
@Korfver, not great tbh, sorry about the lack of updates but the mites and mould knocked out the GG before it was ready, leaving only the side colas and the Creamatic come drying time.
yo man, consider repoting the royal creamatic, I kept it too long in a small pot and it didnt develop to be a monster plant.. i have it in the week 7-8, almost ready to harvest :D
@WhiteWidow, Yeah I'm considering it but I was worried it'd be way too late cause I mean I haven't found the time to update but they're both in preflower mode so it might just shock them out of producing decent bud :/
@BigDaddyK, This was mainly to see if a couple of small plants would be able to give me a personal supply and I wasn't really thinking long term. Definitely gonna get at least 15l pots for my next grow. Agreed though they're small plants but looks like I'm gonna pull around an ounce of some quality bud 👌
@DeathEvil, Agreed it's looking like a good turn around so far, hopefully the Creamatic makes up for it's lack of height compared to the Gorillaglue in terms of bushiness and density
That is some serious stretch are you repotting at all ?
If you are moving to bigger pots i would bury most of the stem to prevent it snapping and will grow roots from there anyway but thats a personal opinion :-)
As they are autos and dont like the repot cut the old pot away with a stanley knife and place very very carfully into the new pot of soil and place in hole you made ready for it ✌️ Good luck
@Autoduck, Yeah I'm planning to repot in a couple of days into something a bit bigger so that should help get better results/healthier plants. Thanks for the tip and thanks I'm gonna need a bit of luck but it should go fine!
