TRASHGROW Popped the seed as follows
Soak in a shotglass of RO water in darkness for 24h
Transfer contents of shotglass into a folded kitchen cloth/paper inside of tupperware, fold the cloth covering up the seed, drain excess water after the cloth has soaked up the water
Leave another 24h
Check to see its root has popped out,
if no: wait another 24h
if yes: pot into 0.5l pot with biobizz light mix soil, cover with dome.
Fast forward 4weeks
Transplant to 7l pot
Week 5
I topped just above the 4th set of nodes and stripped all nodes below leaving only 2 "main" heads
I'll wait for her to recover and then repeat the process for 4 "main" heads and so on
She seems strong and responds very well to the high stress training so far

TRASHGROW Topped the two main heads creating 4 new heads
#hydra
After 2 days recovery I tied the 4 heads down, seen as they were looking healthy.
It's the first time I'm mainlining a plant, I usually just do multiple toppings throughout vegetation to make sure the plants bush out.
Wanted to give mainlining a go, not sure if I'm going to take her to 16 or 32heads yet, let's see how it goes.
So far this strain seems to respond very well to this high stress training method.

I usually just snap the heads off with my fingers. If they don't snap off clean and seem to "tear" more, I'll use one of my disinfected (!!!) Pruning shears/scissors.
Making sure its the right time to top your plants is crucial.
I like to top them just before watering/feeding. Making sure she gets water directly after the stress. Haven't ever had issues this way, but whatever works...works, right?:)
She's really taking well to the training, no signs of any stress or stunt to growth. Immediate recovery.
Rather impressed so far.

TRASHGROW Tied her down a bit more, I'm trying to keep all growth as horizontal as possible.
The stem is also thickening daily, I'll wait until week 9 or maybe even 10 to Transplant her into a bigger pot.
She's very strong. I'm still very impressed and have high hopes for her future.

TRASHGROW Week 9 of veg for the Special Queen (Royal Queen Seeds)
I noticed the wires were a bit tight and seemingly "cutting" into the branches a bit, do to the branches thickening, so I replaced them for thicker, more flexible and slightly softer gardening wire. Much better.
Tying the heads down to maintain even growth is becoming more challenging, but I check her twice a day to make the process easier.
Also stripped the big fan leaves.
She'll be getting topped in a few days bringing the headcount to 16.

TRASHGROW It's week 10 for the special Queen (royal queen seeds) and I've transplanted her to a 20l fabric pot.
While loosening the wires, one of the heads just snapped on me.. I've taped her up in the hope she will recover.
Was gentle but clearly not enough.
It is what it is, I'll wait a few days and take it from there. Worst case the damaged head will be removed, which would mess up the symmetry of the mainlining..

TRASHGROW Week 11
The snapped head didn't recover and I removed it. In the process of tying down the remaining branches another one snapped..
I then decided to cut a branch each of the remaining ones too, reducing the head count back to 8, on the plus side she's back to symmetrical growth. Been a turbulent few days and am going to let her recover before attempting any other training.
TRASHGROW Just tied everything very, very carefully.
I'm being extra gentle, though she has completely recovered the mishaps of last week.
After leaving her for a few days I topped all the heads very gently, now bringing her back to 16 in total.

TRASHGROW It's been 7days since I gently topped her, bringing the head count back to 16. She has fully recovered and is showing nice growth.
I'll wait another few days before topping her (probably for the last time), to bring a total of 32 heads. I'll see how I feel about it, may take her to 64 or just flower her with 32.. stay tuned to find out😉

TRASHGROW Week 14 and the special Queen is looking good
Topped all the heads bringing the count to a total of 31...yeah, I snapped another one accidentally..but I'm not too fussed and she doesn't seem to mind at all, all growth seems to be going at the same pace, no stretching or stunting to be seen.
I'm going to give her another week to veg and will be flipping the light schedule to 12/12 soon.
