Buddy gifted me 4 purple kush seeds he found in buds from A mail order marijuana company in Canada. I’ve had such bad experiences with breeders lately (hermies, nanners, straight up males in a pack of fems, or just something that has no resemblance to what the breeder advertised, seems like literally no similar phenos in a pack of ten) Anyway I figured what’s the worst that can happen? I have the same experiences that I’ve been having with “reputable” breeders that have articles about them in high times so I thought they would be legit but nope. I have asked multiple times on here for people’s opinions on stable and reliable genetics just to be told; find something you like. I told you guys what I like: stability and reliability. I came to this site for advise not to be a dick but I want your opinions and grow diaries with strains that you have personally grown, kept a journal for and that strain didn’t hermie, and was what the breeder said it was. Honestly don’t see a point in buying more seeds until I have enough info on a reputable and reliable breeder. So started germing the seeds in the paper towel method today. Who knows if any will even germinate. We will see!

I know if the seed wont crack after 24 hours you can trow them away . next time try with distilled water and paper towel .you place like 3 layers of paper and pur distilled water on it (not to much but that will make the area wet ) place the seed inside and close it. after 24 hours in a dark place you have a cracked seed .its like the seed moister itself from the paper ,importent to let the seed be moist all the time and not squashed .

@GreenISR, no offence but this isn’t true, this log is proof of that. I had the seeds in the paper towel method for 2 weeks then transferred to a cup of water and in 2 days, 2/4 seeds had popped and showed a tap root. I planted and those two have now sprouted

Trying to research how to actually stabilize strains. I would love to do it myself for myself because the only breeder I have found that seems to be reliable and selling stabilized strains is brothers Grimm seeds, hopefully going to get some of their seeds at cannacon this year if I go. But would love to learn about the process of stabilizing if anyone knows anything about it.

I really hoped I would get some actual advice from this site instead of when I state in my last Grow journal I only have a certain amount of height for a mother and if anyone could help me out or offer advice. Instead I was greeted with people telling me their situations when they have no limited height. And then go on to say it is hard or worth more effort than it’s worth. I really don’t understand people who just comment to say it’s not possible or don’t offer any advice. I’m looking for people who actually have advice to offer and not just negativity or comments just to comment. I will find out on my own if it’s possible or not, I have rooted clones from a plant under 1 foot plenty of times. I’m only here for any extra advice or tips. I already know it’s possible but I’m looking for ways to improve. And always will be learning to improve. That’s how you up your game

My guess is people comment to try to win giveaways. That’s just not why I’m here and just want some real advice. From now on if your comment doesn’t fit my criteria I’m just going to report it
