Legend_Of_ShadowBud Day 1
MH veg lamp 60cm above newly transplanted clones of GHS White Widow. 16 hours light on, MH is 250w. Still delicate at this point so light is very high.
Grow tent is 80cm x 80 cm. Some had good roots, some not. Will see if the unrooted clones survive.
Clones taken - 35 - in rockwool cubes.
Two weeks prior.
26 survived the cloning process. About 6 had no visible roots after 2 weeks. All the rest rooted.
They were all planted out to make space in the Cloner for the next set of clones. Grow room has a mister to keep humidity high to help with the transition running 15 Minutes on, 15 minutes off. Once clones are set, mister will be switched down, then off. Fan switched off at the moment.
Extraction fan is running when light is on.
Also sprayed with water if visible wilting showing. There are 3 clones with vermiculite on top that rooted very quickly, after only 6 days. They were transplanted earlier. The others took about 12 days to show nice roots and all transplanted after 2 weeks regardless of root development.

Legend_Of_ShadowBud Most of these clones pulled through. They are all looking great.
Second week starting in veg cycle. Still under the MH, but light was progressively lowered from day 4, 5cm a day. Currently sitting at 35cm on day 8.
Current external weather conditions are still very hot (sub tropical climate), and canopy temperature is 28°c. Extraction fans running on full capacity to carry out the heat. Coco holding water well. I will up the veg grow fertilizer next watering just slightly. They looking slightly lime green, not normal green.

Legend_Of_ShadowBud Filled up the room now. Not much change. All going well.
I upped the fertilizer slightly.
The mixing instructions are a bit weak. EC was about 0.8
I upped it to EC of 1
Will up is again to EC 1.2
Slight nutrient deficiency in some plants. Foliar spray is helping. Lime green is not so prominent now.

Legend_Of_ShadowBud Flipped Wednesday 7th May 2025.
The increase in EC nutrients has helped. Plants doing well. Better green colour. 1.2 - 1.3EC is the lower end of the sweet spot for these The older plants are around the edges, the smaller plants in the middle. Week 1 of flowering will be under the Metal Halide lamp to control the stretch a bit. Light at same height, forming a concave canopy for equal light distribution.will start raising it soon. Outer plants are close to the light shaddow boundary created by the reflector.
Still using 'grow' formula for this week. From next week I will swap to the 'Bloom' formula and the MH will be swapped for HPS.
Right now MH is 250w
The HPS is a 600w, but will dim it to 250w for second week of flower.
Then increased to 400w for 2 weeks, 600w there after.
No issues. Clones are happy, but crowded. Will trim next week.
Small 15cm fan still running. Will switch to the bigger 25cm fan next week or 2.
Plants were given an organic slow release pellet fertilizer 2-3-2 that will leach out slowly. Over 4-6 weeks.
7 very small plants were removed and placed in the veg chamber to give them another week or 2 to grow. They will be added back in.
3 Sea waves of plants about 10 day apart.
About 20 first SOG wave
9 second SOG wave
7 third SOG wave (coming, still in veg chamber under small LED)

Legend_Of_ShadowBud Stretch time. They woke up and went mad. You all know the deal. I'm waiting for them to stop stretching.
Not much to report. They must finish stretching. Not much to do besides waiting...
It's a forest in there.

Legend_Of_ShadowBud Stretching is looking like it's coming to an end. First signs of flowering.
I removed some males that we're sharing the space. Will collect pollen from them.
These plants are starting to smell a little.
2 fans going.
It looks a bit hectic in there, tallest plants were pinched over to keep the canopy flat. I need to rearrange the plants
Will increase the wattage of the light soon. It's still using the 250w HPS
I will swap to the 400w this week or next.
I also swapped over to the full bloom fertilizer, gave them full dose today.
So far all is good. The Coco has dried a few times, and was flushed.
@OldSchoolT, Thank you for the support. These are the strains I grew up with. Love them. The newer strains don't always have that depth of character.
I also have Super Lemon Haze, NL5 Haze Mist from GHS (seeds), and Black Widow from Mr Nice (currently growing mother plant of BW).
I have lots of old school strains in seeds (Eg California Orange) and some Transkei Red outdoor, Durban Poison etc.
Only newer strains I am growing is OG Kush.(Into a mother plant).
Good Luck with your Project Growmie ! Keep up the great work your Ladys will love it :D looking forward for the next Weeks of this Interessting Strain , have a amazing day/night!
