controlling humidity is one piece of advice but im not sure thats possible in your area of the world. i read that basil and parsley are a natural deterrent. also good airflow. if you can get a fan on the plant, it may keep some of them off of it. but also letting the soil dry out a bit before watering. insecticidal soaps. miticides. neem oil. and predatory mites are all suggestions if possible. also another idea thats a little unorthodox is find a spider somewhere and bring it to your pots and around your plant. ive had random spiders make homes in my plants and the pots at times that ive had mite infestations. its like a buffet for them and they love it even though it creeps me out. but everytime ive had mites, ive ended up with a big spider moving in.
