NateLay I initially placed one seed in each Jiffy, but after 8 days, nothing happened—most likely due to excess moisture. Unfortunately, the same happened with the second seed. 😞 For the third Jack Herer seed, I tried the water soak method, but after four days, the seed was still closed. I then switched to the paper towel method: I placed a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag to retain moisture and put it on a heater. After two days, the seed popped and was transferred into a Jiffy and placed in the grow box. After one day, the seed came out of the ground but looked "strange". One day later I decided to remove the seed shell by hand.

NateLay After manually removing the seed shell the previous days, I decided to just leave it in the Jiffy and see how it would develop over the next few days. To my delight, I noticed that after just one day, the taproot had grown out of the Jiffy. So I decided it was time to move her to her final home: an 11-liter fabric pot. I will use this day as Day 1 of vegetative phase. I have the light set to 40% at a distance of 40 cm, which should equal around 360–400 PPFD. Day 3: I decided she was ready for her next watering. I gave her 500 ml. Day 6: I decided she was ready for her next watering. I gave her 750 ml. The leaves are looking a bit weird to me. I hope everything will be fine and I am just worried because I had a rough germination process with these ones.

NateLay Day 9: As I mentioned before she is not looking good. I will keep and treat her as "normal" and wait what the next days will bring. If there wont be normal/healthy looking leaves and overall growth untill next mid/end of the week I will call it a day and focus on my other plant (Lemon Orange) which is going fine. Day 12: I let her grow and see what happens but she is really far behind.

NateLay Day 16: At least the shape and size of the leaves look like what you would expect. But overall she is just super tiny and didnt form "real" nodes. Not a lot of space and nothing to train really. I let her grow until I know how to proceed with my other flower, because it is either flip the tent to 12/12 or top (the Lemon Orange, other plant) and try to use the regeneration time so that she can catch up and will at least yield something when going into flower. Day 18: Growth is happening but its so narrow/compact. In about a week the tent will be flipped to 12/12 because of my other plant. I am curious how she will develop.

NateLay Day 23: This plant is far behind the other one in the tent. I suspect there might be an issue with the seeds — only one out of three germinated, and that one took almost a week. Since then, growth has been noticeably slower compared to my previous grows. I’ve decided to just let her do her thing and see what the final outcome will be. Today, I removed the large fan leaves because they were damaging the branches underneath and blocking most of the light. As you can see in the pictures, there’s barely any horizontal growth. I watered her with tap water about 2 liters. In a few days, the tent will switch to a 12/12 light cycle. Let’s see how this plant develops from here.

NateLay Switched to 12/12. As you can see I did some LST to try to create some space. The plant still grows or looks "weird" but she did got some height in he last days.

Absolutely incredible work! The structure of your plant is textbook perfect — great node spacing, lush green leaves, and an overall super healthy look. It’s clear you’ve put a lot of care and attention into this grow, and it really shows. Watching progress like this is inspiring for the whole community 🌿✨ If anyone feels like checking out another grow, you're welcome to swing by my profile too 🔍."
