How to Use?
Your living soil will be assembled in 2 parts, the first part is where you will mix the organic inputs into your base soil, the other part of the assembly consists of moistening the already mixed soil using some products from the kit.
Just open 50L of base soil on the ground, on a tarp, or in a container and you will add all the organic inputs that come in the kit, except for 3 products that should be used in the second part, which are described below. Remember that the powdered inputs already come in the measure that should be used for 50L of soil, so there is no need to take anything out or add anything.
After the inputs have been poured into the soil, it’s time to mix the soil with the help of a hoe or shovel, which can also be done by hand, until it becomes well homogeneous, with a unique texture. Place it in pots or the chosen container for it to rest.
The second part consists of moistening this soil using some products to add microorganisms, enzymes, and vitamins. There are 3 products that have different functions and should also be used in different dosages. Therefore, we recommend making a separate application for each one. If the amount of water to be used to moisten the soil is 3 Liters, set aside 1L for each product and dilute the necessary amount. Then just water the soil with the water, moistening it on all sides, until it starts to drain water. The soil will ferment, or rest, for 20 days. And now you can carry out a cultivation in it from start to finish, watering only with water.
Use in the soil mixture:
Castor Cake, Potassium Silicate, Diatomaceous Earth, Agricultural Gypsum, Chicken Manure, Algae Meal, Natural Phosphate, Azomite, Biochar, Bokashi.
Use diluted in water to moisten the soil:
- Humic Extract - Humic Acids: 1 to 2g for each Liter of water
- Trichoderma Harzianum + Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens: 2g for each Liter of water.
- Aloe Vera Extract + Saponins: 2ML for each Liter of water.

craudiaoDaMassa The cold has arrived and I had to keep the heating on during the night, which affected the humidity a bit, but nothing that makes the VPD too bad, everything is within a standard. I prepared a solution with aloe for this week.

craudiaoDaMassa Continuing with watering every two days, a small spoonful of prepared substrate was added to plants 2, 3, and 5. I've noticed a slow development of the Tropical Tangie; it doesn't seem to do well in the cold.

craudiaoDaMassa Hello everyone, back here with more updates from my grow.
Big thanks to everyone who took the time to read and/or comment on the post. Much love to you all!
Let’s get to the point:
In my last update, I mentioned a problem with the cotyledons of one of the plants. My buddy @FishWhistler pointed out something that could have been the issue — the water pH. When I realized it, all my pH meters were busted, and since money is tight this month, I’ll only buy a new sensor next month. But I did buy a few liters of water at the store with pH 6.8, so if that was the issue, it should be solved for now.

Did a top prune on the two biggest plants, both from brick weed

Inspired by a friend here at OG, @Senhor_Luffy, I started monitoring watering based on pot weight, but now using a precision scale instead of just guessing. It takes a bit of work, but it’s really interesting to see which plants are drinking more, and to water only when needed.
July 20, 2025
The two biggest plants were showing signs of being too large for their pots — their leaf tips had been pointing down for a few days even with regular watering.
I started with a layer of expanded clay, then a thin layer of perlite, and filled the rest with the prepared soil I made (more details at the start of this topic). I used a cup the same size as the pot to make the mold.
I also took the opportunity to do a full clean-up of the grow room.
The transplant was smooth. The soil was very dry and the roots had no more space to grow.
July 21, 2025
Watered the plants that were thirsty according to my pot weight monitoring. These were the ones with the leaf tips pointing downward.

craudiaoDaMassa What’s up my diplomats, all good?
Here’s the latest grow update — I’m super excited for the next few weeks.
Let’s get to it:
---
* **July 23, 2025**
My pH meter arrived. After calibration, just like my buddy @FishWhistler pointed out, the pH was a bit off. I also got some pH down, and now I’m watering with water adjusted to around 6.5.
Result: all the plants started showing much better growth, and the two that were struggling are now clearly bouncing back. Huge thanks @FishWhistler!
Plants 1 and 2, which were moved to bigger pots a week ago, are looking way better now.

---
* **July 26, 2025**
I transplanted plant 3 into a bigger pot. Since the move, it’s shown clear improvement. With a richer soil mix, it should thrive even more now.
---
* **July 28, 2025**
Before lights out, I applied a preventive spray made of water, andiroba oil, and potassium silicate to protect from pests.
Also did a TOP cut on plant 3.
At sunrise, the girls looked beautiful! Some of them have droopy tips because the photo was taken before watering.
