Lowbuds Hey everyone, kicking off my Divine Rapier Auto grow for the Divine Seeds 2025 Global Autoflowering Competition!
This oneโs going straight into an 11L square pot โ thatโs all I had on hand. I planted the seed directly into the soil and sprayed it with water mixed with a bit of HโOโ to help boost germination and keep things fresh.
Sheโll be sharing the same budget custom space as my Black Opium, running under cheap eBay lamps.
Soil is reused from a previous run, boosted with worm humus, Root Complex, and Power Zyme โ keeping it simple and affordable.
Iโm curious to see how this smaller pot and direct planting will work out. If all goes well, I might even finish her bloom on my south-facing window bank for some natural light.
What Iโm aiming for:
โข See what an 11L pot can do in the same budget setup
โข Keep things low-effort and easy to follow for anyone with limited space or gear
โข Share honest updates and learnings
Seed is planted and ready to go โ stay tuned for sprout updates!
Big thanks to Divine Seeds for sponsoring this grow with free seeds!

Lowbuds Day 1: Waiting for Lift-Off ๐ | Divine Rapier Auto
Seed was planted directly into the soil a couple of days ago โ 11L square pot with amended soil (worm humus, Root Complex, Power Zyme), sprayed with water + a bit of HโOโ to help with germination.
So far, no sign of her above ground yet, but Iโm keeping conditions steady and the topsoil moist.
Sheโs in the same custom budget setup as my Black Opium โ under cheap eBay lights, nothing fancy. Hoping sheโll break the surface soon. Patience mode activated.

Lowbuds Update: Seed Swap ๐จ | Divine Rapier Auto
Soโฆ the first seed I planted directly into the 11L pot didnโt make it โ no germ after about a week. RIP little one ๐ป๐ฑ
Luckily, I had dropped a backup seed on the balcony in a 20L pot, just in case. That one took off nicely, so itโs officially taking over as the new Divine Rapier entry for this diary.
Sheโs outdoors for now but will likely join the indoor setup later, or maybe finish out on the south-facing window bank if it fits the flow. Still sticking to the budget, real-life-grower spirit of the run.
New plant is healthy and rolling โ updates coming soon!
Big thanks again to Divine Seeds for the opportunity ๐

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 3 Update: Slow Start, Probably My Setup
Not much growth to report โ sheโs still small, and the second leaf set is just barely developing. Same as with the Black Opium, this oneโs off to a slow start.
Lately Iโve been noticing this trend across a few seeds โ most likely due to low light intensity and not enough humidity in my veg space. Definitely something Iโll try to dial in better for future runs.
For now, Iโm just keeping things stable: light watering, no feeding yet, and watching to see if she picks up now that conditions are improving.
More updates soon if she decides to take off!

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 3/4: Finally Some Momentum ๐
Looks like we have a survivor!
This Divine Rapier is doing better โ sheโs got two sets of leaves now and is finally showing some steady growth. Still small for this point, but she looks healthy and seems like sheโll make it.
Out of four seeds I started for this contest, sheโs the only one that made it through. Not the smoothest start to this run, but Iโm glad at least one plant is giving it a proper go.
Sticking with the plan: light watering, stable light, no training yet โ just letting her build some momentum before I touch anything. Might stay indoors, or still finish on the south-facing window depending on how she develops.
More updates soon ๐ฑ

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 5: Turning the Corner ๐ฟ
Posting a little late โ this was from last Saturday:
Sheโs officially bouncing back. The Divine Rapier has now pushed out her 4th set of leaves and is finally heading in the right direction. Growth is still compact, but healthy and well-structured.
After a rough start and a few seed failures, itโs good to see this one getting into gear. Conditions have been more stable lately, and sheโs clearly responding well.
No training yet โ just letting her stack a bit more before I start shaping anything. Definitely feels like the one that might carry this run.
More soon!

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 6: LST Starts Now ๐ฟ๐
Week 6 already โ and sheโs finally picking up. Not the fastest start, but this oneโs got promise: tight internodes, nice color, and sheโs holding steady.
The stem isnโt super thick, so Iโll take it easy with the first bend โ probably just anchor and guide it slowly. Might also raise the lamp a bit โ itโs been close, and I think thatโs why the growth is so compact.
Sheโs in a 20L pot with reused, amended soil (worm humus, Root Complex, PowerZyme), still running light feeding for now. The structure looks good enough to open her up gradually over the next few days.
So far, sheโs the only survivor of the 4 Divine Seeds autos I started โ but sheโs holding it down like a champ.
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for the genetics โ more updates coming soon as training begins!

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 7 (Saturday): First LST Started ๐ฑ๐
Update from Saturday:
I started LST by gently bending the main stem over toward the edge of the pot. The internodes were still very tight, so I kept it simple โ just one tie-down to open her up without putting too much pressure on the stem.
Sheโs in a 20L pot of reused soil, and feeding has been light but consistent โ Root Complex, PowerZyme, and TNT Complex at half strength. Sheโs been responding well so far.
Not a big plant yet, but compact and healthy. Hoping the training will give those lower branches a chance to catch up now that light penetration is better.
Looking forward to seeing how she reacts this week ๐

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 7: Pistils, Move-In Day & Pest Patrol ๐ธ๐ก
Sheโs moving along!
This week I kept bending the main stem further to the side of the pot to keep that horizontal shape going. Sheโs stayed compact but healthy, and now โ first pistils just showed up ๐๐
With that timing, Iโve moved her into the better light zone that just freed up โ now running under two cheap eBay lamps, should give her a solid boost going into early flower.
I also started bloom feeding:
๐ง 2L mix (usually lasts about a week):
Bloom Complex PowerZyme Booster
On the downside: I spotted some thrips, so she got a good shower today to rinse them off. Iโll also spray with a mild dish soap solution as a next step in pest control.
Sheโs the only survivor from the original batch, so Iโm doing my best to get her through clean and strong.
Thanks again to Divine Seeds โ sheโs finally showing what she can do!

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 8: Growth Explosion! ๐๐ฑ
I came back after a few days away andโฆ wow.
Sheโs at least twice the size compared to before I left โ the LST has really opened her up and now sheโs spreading wide and filling the space.
The move under two lamps clearly paid off, and sheโs loving the bloom feed.
Right now sheโs getting:
โข Bloom Complex
โข PowerZyme
โข Booster
๐ง Around 2L mix at a time, usually enough for a week.
Structure-wise, sheโs pushing strong side branches, plenty of bud sites forming, and pistils popping everywhere. Iโll keep tucking and tying to keep light hitting all those lower spots.
Big thanks again to Divine Seeds โ this is turning into a real comeback story for the only survivor of the original batch!

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 10: Stretch in Full Force ๐ฟโก
The stretch is still going strong this week, and sheโs really pushing upwards fast. Some of the top branches were getting dangerously close to the lamps, so I gently brought them down using garden wire to keep everything safe and open.
Sheโs also thirstier now โ going through about 2L every two days instead of weekly. Thatโs a good sign sheโs in full bloom mode and stacking energy for bud building.
On top of that, a light smell is starting to appear when I check on her โ a nice preview of whatโs to come in the next weeks.
Exciting times ahead as she shifts deeper into flowering! ๐ธ๐ฅ
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for the genetics powering this beauty.

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 11: Shine and Stretch โจ๐ฟ
Sheโs still stretching strong and developing more and more bud sites all around. To keep her safe under the lights, Iโve been bending some branches over โ better airflow, no burns, and more even light distribution.
The first signs of shiny resin are starting to appear on the leaves and tips, a very promising sight this early into flowering. ๐ธโจ
This week I top-dressed with a handful of worm humus and gave her plain water. Soon Iโll move on to Phosphorus Plus to support the next stage of flower development.
So far so good โ sheโs really shaping up. ๐ Big thanks to Divine Seeds for this resilient lady.

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 12: Bud Build Mode ๐ธ๐ช
The stretch is finally slowing down and she seems to have settled into full flower mode. Lots of bud sites are stacking up nicely all across the canopy, and the structure from earlier LST is paying off with good light penetration.
This week I started feeding Phosphorus Plus to give her the extra push she needs for bud development. Watering rhythm remains steady, and sheโs looking happy and healthy overall.
Really pleased with how sheโs filling out โ big thanks again to Divine Seeds for this genetics ๐.

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 13: Buds Swelling & First Strong Aroma ๐ฟโจ
Sheโs doing well โ the buds are swelling up and really starting to take shape. The smell is getting stronger too, she smells like ripe tropical fruits or berries with a herbal minty basil background.
Not everything went perfectly this week though โ during a shower I accidentally snapped a strong branch. Couldnโt repair it, so I probably lost around 10โ15% of the plantโs potential. Lesson learned, but luckily the rest of her is thriving.
Overall, sheโs stacking nicely and smelling fantastic โ still plenty of canopy left to finish strong. Big thanks to Divine Seeds for this lovely plant.

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 14: Sticky & Swelling ๐ธ๐
Sheโs doing great this week โ the buds are really swelling and starting to pack on some weight. The flowers are getting sticky to the touch, with resin building up nicely.
The smell has become much more pungent, strong in the room now, and promising a tasty finish. Structure is holding up well after earlier training, and sheโs making steady progress toward the final stretch.
So far, very happy with how sheโs developing โ thanks again to Divine Seeds for this solid genetics. ๐

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Week 15: Ripening Time ๐ฟ๐ธโจ
Sheโs getting close to the finish line now. The buds are fully formed and starting to ripen, with some nice colors showing through in the canopy. Resin production is heavy โ sheโs very sticky to the touch and the smell is strong and pungent, really filling the space. Trichomes are getting milky.
From this week on Iโve started rinsing with plain water to let her flush out clean before harvest. Excited to watch the final fade and see how the aromas and colors develop in these last weeks.
Big thanks again to Divine Seeds โ this one has been a journey, and sheโs looking like sheโll reward the patience. ๐

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Final Week: Almost There ๐ฟโ๏ธ๐
Sheโs nearly ready for harvest now. When I got back from holidays I found a bit of bud rot, so I removed the affected parts. Luckily, the rest of the plant is still solid, so I decided to let her run a few more days since there are still plenty of translucent trichomes.
The smell is extremely strong, filling the whole space. Sheโs not quite as sticky anymore, but the purple tones showing through the frosty buds (thanks to colder temps) are a real highlight.
For the last stretch sheโs only been on water with just a small dose here and there. She ended up being quite a big plant despite the slow start and challenges along the way.
Had a first sample taste already โ very kushy and berry-forward flavor, smooth and promising. Harvest will happen in the next days.
Big thanks to Divine Seeds for this journey ๐ โ from slow beginnings to a beautiful finish, this one turned into a rewarding run.

Lowbuds ๐ Divine Rapier Auto โ Drying Week: Harvest In! ๐ฟโ๏ธ๐จ
I decided to cut the plant on Monday, as there wasnโt much evolution anymore and I didnโt want to risk more bud rot. Maybe a little early, but better safe than sorry.
She only had about one week of rinsing, but overall looks really clean. Now sheโs hanging to dry at around 17 ยฐC and 60โ65 % humidity, and everything seems to be going smoothly.
The buds have a decent size, frosty with a strong, pleasant aroma already coming through the room. In a few more days sheโll be ready for jarring and curing.
So far, really happy with how she turned out โ especially after the rough start earlier in the run. ๐
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for this solid genetics.
Divine Rapier Auto โ Final Smoke Report
After 11 days of drying, I finally got the chance to jar the buds today, now that RH has dropped back to a good level after a few very humid days.
In the end, she delivered really well โ 61g of nice, medium-to-small frosty buds with solid density, plus another 16g of lower material. I also had that big branch that broke earlier, and probably lost another 5โ10g to bud rot, but overall Iโm really happy with the final result.
The aroma and flavor are excellent โ tropical and creamy with an earthy kush aftertaste that lingers nicely. The effect hits with a clear mind and strong body relaxation, very balanced and enjoyable.
Overall, a very satisfying grow and smoke, especially considering the rocky start and mid-run issues. Iโll definitely grow this strain again โ great terpene profile and a rewarding finish.
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for the genetics and for hosting this competition
