We're off to the races! Another one of the Barney's Farm /r/Autoflowers grows. Looking forward to how this girl turns out. I've heard all sorts of great stuff about the various LSD strains. This grow shouldn't be super overcrowded so maybe we'll get to see some real bulk! Planning on running a net over these girls for training, as I've never done it before and want the experience.
Day 8 - She's looking pretty good! No hitches so far for my second grow. They all came up and rocked it. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out.
Day 15 - Just watered. Her pot was still super heavy but the soil at the top needed it. Ran 1/4 gallon of PHed water over her. She liked it. As one of the mostly blurple girls she's a little taller than I'd like but she's looking really healthy so I won't complain.
Day 22 - She's turning out to have narrower leaves, which has made her LST work a lot more enjoyable. Each girl has had her little quirks, but this one has, so far, been fairly smooth sailing.
Day 29 - This girl has been a dream to do LST on. Her narrower, sativalike leaves and thinner stems haven't been hard to manipulate, and as a result she's spreading out nicely. The new grow space is cooler than the old tent situation, and the lower temperatures have required a lot less water for the girls.
Day 33 - Missed a day here. Day 32 is lost to the black hole called D&D day. She's big, she's perky, and she don't need no man. The net is stretching up at this point under her but I'm keeping her tied down fairly well still.
Day 35 - Interestingly, all of these girls are drinking far less than my first grow. The difference between 80-85f and 72f seems to be about a half a gallon a day during late veg. :-D This week rounded out with this girl on the verge of starting to show pistils. Not quite there yet, so she's still getting tucked under the net.
Day 36 - And so week six begins! She's looking good, looking well, looking sativa, and I'm very, very happy. :-D Giving her water/food every three or four days or so. Officially going to stop training on her at this point until her stretch really starts to hit, then I'm going to put a second layer of net another four or five inches above the current canopy, so I can spread her tops a little further apart as they reach up.
Day 42 - She's been exceptionally stable and boring all week! This makes me happy. Just slowly and surely growing out and in the past four days or so have made very clear that she is flowering. One of her tops is *almost* a pompom.
Day 43 - Looking fantastic! She seems to really be starting to push out pistils now. Because of her narrow, sativa-ish leaves, light has no problem getting fairly deep into her mass.
Day 46 - She's just doing her thing, and looking good at it!
Day 49 - Closing out week seven. She's healthy and good looking. Had to cut her out of the net along with the other girls so I could get the non-flowering Glue Gelato "Auto" out of the grow and into her own space. She's fine, but not quite as spread out as I'd like her to be. Might have to figure out a way to finagle these girls back under another net-like thing. Interestingly she doesn't stink much. A mild sweet smell is there but *MILD*
Day 50 - This girl is so well behaved that there's not much to say about her. She's flowering well, and getting thick around the bud sites. Unusually, she's got almost no smell at all. A mild sweetness is there, but not very strong. Looks great though!
Day 53 - Her flowers are fluffing up and her sugar leaves are getting frosty!
Day 56 - As week 8 ends, she's starting her flower stretch. Chugging along nicely!
Day 57 - So we're beginning week nine! She's got a nice dusting of frost all around her pompoms/soon to be colas, and is thickening up more every day!
Day 63 - End of the week! From the looks of her she has maybe one week to go. Chugging along nicely and giving me no issues. Once or twice a week I pull her up and clear out any dead leaves, otherwise she just gets fed when she's dry and spoken nicely to. :-D
Day 64 - Week ten. She's thick, she's frosty, and she's got maybe another week. Her smell is very mild but nice and sweet. Added Koolbloom to her nute mix, along with some home grown Mammoth P to finish her off.
Day 70 - Closing out the week! She's pretty much done, but I'm giving her another feed and a few more days, just to get everything out of her that I can. That will be three feeds with Koolbloom in it. For some reason I want at least three feeds with the stuff. *Shrug* She remains the best behaved girl in the grow, apart from maybe the Ghost Toof at this point. I figure I'll give her another four days, and give her the chop on Saturday if her soil is dried out enough.
Day 71 - Into week eleven! Rather than give her the chop, I decided to go one more feed with her. Gave her a full dose of Maxibloom, Koolbloom, and Mammoth P. Didn't seem to even burn her tips. When she's dried out from this feed I'll assess and decide whether to keep on going for a bit.
Day 72 - Her top colas were done four days ago, but she is so damned dense that I felt like it would be wasteful to let the less developed but still large secondary colas get chopped as they have a lot of potential still. PARTIAL HARVEST TIME. I too 440 grams (wet) bud out of her, which was less than half of her bulk, and she's going back into the grow. The post harvest pic conveys just how dense she was to begin with. She kind of doesn't look like I harvested her. :-D Anyway the rest of the plant will be harvested when it's ready and this harvest post will be updated with more pics!
Day 75 - She's filling back in! Will give her another week maybe before giving her the second, and likely final chop. Give her another couple feeds to make her super fat.
Day 79 - Gave her the final chop! She's on the rack and drying now.
