AGrowerNotAShower 06/19: Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, so I want to say some things before I get started. I did a few grows (some of which I made journals of on here) but I most definitely still consider myself a newbie. It’s been about four years since the last and during that run I had a male plant that pollinated four females of different strains. Needless to say, I ended up with a bunch of seeds and some decent flower. I smoked all the flower and kept most of the seeds, and now I have decided to ease my way back into the life by trying out the miraculous accidents I’ve kept since then.
I want to emphasize that the original females were pollinated by accident (although I should’ve know they would be since I did not take enough measures to prevent it) and that the seeds should be around four years old now. I don’t have any crazy expectations on the outcome. This is mainly for fun. I also want to point out that as of now I have attempted to germinated around 20 seeds of the different strains, with no success. The failure could be due to a number of things such as the age of the seeds and also the fact that they weren’t intentionally made. I also want to take blame on my germinating skills. In this last attempt I have a taproot on 1 of 2 seeds, and I feel like this is the best attempt at germination I’ve had.
TL;DR I had a male plant pollinate a few female plants on accident four years ago, and now I am attempting to grow one of the seeds I saved since then.
The germinated seed is a cross between a male Lemon Thai Kush by Humboldt Seed Organization and a female Gelat.OG by Seedsman. It is a regular seed, so hopefully it comes out female.
After about 24 hours in water, and 10 days in a paper towel, the taproot began to show.
