I start tracking this Rocket Banana from Zambeza Seeds. I really wanted to cultivate this variety, so I really appreciate the opportunity to do so. The germination has been a success and very fast. I had planned to put it outdoor, but I have failed a plant for the next indoor diary that I will do, so I decided to move the Rocket Banana indoors, taking its place, which will certainly give an exceptional performance. Even so, I really want to grow it outdoors and I still have some seeds left, so it is possible that I will do it in the future too. For the moment, yesterday I put it in the tent and soon I will transplant it to a bigger pot.
Tomorrow I will fertilize it for the first time
This week I have not been able to pay much attention due to lack of time. It has not grown too much, I think due to lack of nuts and the stress of the transplant. Tomorrow I will water it with a normal dose for growth and I hope that next week it will have a good progress. I have changed the plans for her. I'm going to cultivate it alone. I will give 6 weeks of growth with LED in the 60x60 cabinet and then I will pass it to flowering with HID lights in the cabinet of 1'20x1'20, which will already be free. The next diaries of Zambeza varieties will be in DWC since I feel more comfortable with this technique than cultivating on soil.
I still can not pay much attention, but it is developing quite well. I hope I can dedicate more time soon. Fortunately we can afford a quite long vegetative stage, so I am confident that it will come into bloom with a very good size.
The fourth week of growth of this Rocket Banana ends and the plant looks beautiful. Tomorrow I'll top it so it's ready for the scrog mesh when the time comes.
The Rocket Banana continues the progress. Yesterday I carried out the transplant to a 19L textile pot. I used Kraken from Mycoterra and rooting hormones in addition to Root 66 from Technaflora to minimize transplant stress. The plant seems to have reacted very well to the transplant without showing any worrisome signs. At the beginning of this week it was topped and there is an appreciable development in the lateral branches. I have also started to make LST to some branches to reach flowering in the best possible conditions. I'm going to do a defoliation this weekend so in the next update you will appreciate the LST strings.
This week I made a good defoliation. I have also carried out LST in most branches. I have topped the tip and made FIM to some side branches. This week the development has been slow but I trust that next week we will see a good development and will be ready to move to flowering
The growth of this beautiful Rocket Banana continues, which will soon be ready to move to the flowering tent. This week I used another more generic growth fertilizer since I have run out of almost all Technaflora products because they came from previous crops.
