May the growing commence
Started off in jiffy pellets...soaked in water a splash of formulex for when those roots get going
3 days in and we have action
Start of 3rd week and they are now in 4" rookwool blocks as of a few days ago. You can just see the first of the roots to hit the bottom of the block to start air trimming and building a rootmass in the block.
I've dipped the bottom half of the blocks in a solution of formulex
Looking good...the roots are making an appearance...I'll let the roots air trim til im happy there is enough
Still dipping only the bottom half of the block in a weak solution of formulex so it draws the roots down
Sunday.....
Looking good this week. I will sit these on spreader matt this week as the roots have been air trimming.
I will run the pump twice a day for 15 mins so not to saturate the blocks.
It's all about roots at this stage. If i soak the blocks the roots wont do searching for water.
Wednesday....
Just added some more pics of roots that are air trimming...the blocks I'm holding are 70% dry so will dip the block only half way into some nutrient solution
Sat these on the spreader Matt this few days and fim'd the tops. The roots are growing into the spreader matt now.
I will transpkant these into flowering tent next week being careful not to damage the roots.
They're being feed once a day for 15 mins which is enough to keep the spreader matt wet and not saturate the blocks until I have a lot of root mass.
These girls are looking good and ready to go into flowering. I fim'd these a week or so go. Really looking forward to these after seeing what @710_squish done with the AK Auto.
They've got lovely white healthy roots.
Their still on veg feed until I see a flower and only being feed 4 times in the day time for 15mins at a time and yhd pump is off completely throught their night time period. Now watch my roots go wild and dome cracking buds appear
Start of week 2 of flowering and they've settled in well. I've hst these through the week....you wouldn't think it looking at them now.
I've changed the water and feed for a fresh lot.
Will change water 100% on a weekly basis now as the weather is warming!!! No more managing it as the oxygen levels drop if it's to warm for to long
Done a weekly water change and added flowering nutrients this week as the flower now making an appearance and ph'd...
Growing well and getting a stretch on now
Feeding pump is only on 4x15 mins in day time and off completely through the night!!
Wow these girls have got a stretch on a week.
I've hst them thru the week other than that I'm managing the water tank this week rather than changing it as I've done my back in and struggling to move...
I've topped with water and half strength feed then ph'd it...
Well these have certainly grown...its a bit awkward to get decent photos as the god bud next to it is massive.
I've changed the water and feed for a fresh lot and added pk on the 5th flowering week
