Pippos_Zen_Garden after one and a half days the seed sprouted and I put it directly into the final pot (Saturday). The top layer is BioBizz light mix, further down it is all mix, so that the seedling doesn’t get any nute burns from the beginning. I always put them outside right away without any issues so far. So that’s what I will do once again.
1.5 days after planting, the seedling was already visible.
At first, it had three seed leaflets, but two of them fell off fairly quickly. However, the plant didn’t seem to be particularly bothered by it.
Now it’s continuing to grow with three leaves, and I’m very curious to see how it will develop further.
Unfortunately, the weather was quite bad this week, but we make the best out of what we get, had some good plants without mint conditions before so we‘ll see how it goes haha

Pippos_Zen_Garden First update :)
Weather really tries to screw me, almost no sun the last week and almost none forecasted for next. Considering that, the plant is growing fairly nice. Still a lil asymmetrical. She has three first leafs, now grows only two new ones each node like she is supposed to, but one of the two always seems to be a little further developed. I‘ll stick with it anyways and am excited on how she will keep growing :)

Pippos_Zen_Garden The weather is completely trash, almost no sun, quite cold and lots of rain. But still she is growing nicely. I started to do some lst, mainly to keep it out of sight from neighbors as it stretches later on.

Pippos_Zen_Garden She is getting trained heavily. First time using wire as well as the clips (which I‘ve used but I don’t like the limited things u can do with them)
From mid next week the weather should actually finally be good. Up until now I really only got rainy and cloudy days. But I would say given the circumstances she is actually developing really well so I am very excited to see how she will do with the sun out :))

Pippos_Zen_Garden Summer finally showed again in the south of Germany und we have the sun out 🤭🤭
I have taken out all the clips and only use wire now to train the plant. Because of it being the first time I am very open to advice on how to optimize it :)
Also do you think I should defoliate a bit more or wait a little longer to see how she arranges herself first?
She is now entering the pre flower stage I believe :)

Pippos_Zen_Garden We are fully in the preflowering stage now and looking healthy. I am really happy with how the training wich started quite random turned out quite good in my opinion, especially considering doing it for the first time :)
Weather should stay great over the next week so I am excited how that will further accelerate the whole thing :)
Well well well , these girls have come along really nicely in the last two weeks! Awesome job well done, I hope to see more! I am quite some north of you but my outside girls have begun to preflower now.
Yoo, you're plants are looking really healthy, congrats! If you want to train like that and have maximum control, you could try using bonsai wire (2mm thickness) and just do all the training without having to tie it to the pot . I use it for everything at home now :D
Those leaves in week one look weird - they sometimes start funny but sort themselves out later. Welcome to grow diaries Pippo! I will follow along and see how you get on with this outdoor grow... in Germany is it?
