Germination
19d ago
LetItGrowBro Hello fellow growers!!! I'm BACK! Been two years since my last grow. Alot of research. Step by step Germination Process: 7/8 Preheated cup of spring water and H202 on germination mat for an hour, dropped seeds, they all cracked within a few hours. 1 out of 3 sanked. Preheated and pre-moisened paper towel with spring water on heat mat. 7/9 Added seeds to warm paper towel, taproot was visible less than 12 hours. Preheated and pre-moisened 20% perlite, Happy Frog potting soil/ Premium Mycorrhizal fungi on the heat mat. Dropped seeds in their warm and moist homes. 7/10 All 3 seeds have emerged from the soil, helmets are off, but GDP #2 helmet is still on, however, its growing. Temps are steady at 78f/ 85 max humidity, adjusting accordingly with humidifier. So far so good. 7/11Purple Oreo is rooted down, head should pop in 24 hours or so. 4 plants in total.

LetItGrowBro 7/11 All three seeds have popped out and growing well. GDP #1 is really full of energy! GDP #2 is right behind, a little slow start. Gelat OG is vibrant green! They are well, they like heat around 80 and humidity around 75. Keeping it steady. 7/12 Water day. Haven't watered since I pre-made the soil. Been lightly misting the top soil. Added a shot glass of water to each pot around the edge of the container, then misting around the plant. I have raised the light further from plants since germination. I possibly see some heat stress. 7/13 All three ladies are getting comfy! Nothing for today, adjusted temps, 80 humdity, 78f in tent. Also, turned on fan on low setting, they are doing a little jiggle. Purple Oreo and Ice Cream Cake still germinating. Will update! 7/14 All three ladies are doing well. Lowered humidity to 65, temp of 78-79f. Watered each pot a shot glass of water. They felt a little light weight. Growing and drinking! 💚 7/15 I successfully transplanted all three ladies to bigger pots. Pretty simple. Added mycorrhizal and added Lotus(Grow) 8-4-13 NPK premium plant nutrient in the transplant hole. 7/16 All is good. Plants working on their true leaves. Adjusted temps to 82f and 65-75 humidity. They are thriving. Love watching them grow! 7/17 I believe we are 7 days into this growing. All three ladies are growing so well. I will be doing some topping and LST once they grow to the 4th node, once I do that I'm going to start . All is good today. Checking on them throughout the day, will be adding a camera in the tent soon, temps remain 82-83 at 75-80 humidity.

LetItGrowBro 7/18 8 days since germination. All three ladies are doing well! GDP #1 is really growing. This would be the one I would pull a clone from. Not sure if Gelat OG is pulling the OG kush or Gelato phenotype, but its small in my eyes, she is growing though. GDP #2 is right behind her sister! Been researching phenotypes and why the same strain from the same breeder grows differently in the same environment. 7/19 Water day! Only watering when the soil look dry. Only watered around the seedling. They are growing daily. 7/20 10 days old from germination. All is good today. The ladies are still growing! 💚 Switched light schedule to 20/4. Let's see what the dark period can do! 7/21 I had to get rid of the Gelat OG. It was stunted. I dont want to waste time with a runt. My GDP ladies are doing great. I watered them until I seen some run off. Germinating more seeds. Update to come! GDP #1 is giving off her scent a little. Weak smell, but a smell. 7/22 Both ladies are doing great! Switching to 20/4 light tonight. They have done really well with 24/0 schedule. 7/23 13 days since germination. Both ladies are still thriving. Nothing to report! 7/24 Water 14 days since germination. I have completed the first step of LST. I also watered them all the way through.

LetItGrowBro 7/25 14 days after germination. Topped plant and saved both cuttings for clones. My first time cutting clones. We shall see how this works out. Cut, added clonex and now sitting in rapid rooters in a propagation tray. Both GDP ladies are doing great. 7/26 GDP #1 has 6 colas so far growing. GDP #2 has 5 colas so far. Im debating on if I wanna top again or not. I don't see any signs of stress from the topping. They are doing great! Still getting her smells from the tent. Watered GDP#1 Tablespoon of Grow nutrients, pot was feeling light. 7/27 Both ladies are doing well. Getting bushier each day! Completed some more LST on GDP #1 and removed the fan leaves, to give more space GDP #2 has her fan leaves, waiting for more growth on her before completing more LST. 7/28 17 days from germination. Did more LST watered both plants with plain spring water. 7/29 Nothing to report. They are growing out. 7/30 19 days after germination. Ladies are doing good. Nothing to report.
