Auto PG sprouted quickly, in about 3 days after putting it in the medium. She is growing quickly during this phase, not much stretch yet. SS sprouted first between her and HF4G - I switched the 1500 and 600 w LEDs 2 days ago when I added LZ to the family. LZ and HF4G sprouted at the same time, about a day after I switched the lights - my green babes! :)

Auto PG is sprouting nicely, got some new leaves coming in, but it is staying low, not much stretch still. HF4G, LZ, & SS are growing their new leaves, as well, coming along nicely. :-)

Auto PG took off this week, doubled its size and has white hairs at the nodes already! :-D HF4G, LZ, & SS are also growing quickly, their leaves are coming in very nicely. LZ has been the quickest of the three photo-period ones I have, but the other too are more of an indica strain than the LZ, so probably beginning to stretch.

Auto PG took off again this week and it's height is now 9"! There are more white hairs on the main stem and other nodes, smell is somewhat noticeable, but the carbon filter helps keep it down - smells citrusy already. LZ, SS, and HF4G are doing well too - you can tell which ones are more indica and sativa. LZ has skinnier leaves and is continuing to stretch. HF4G has fatter leaves and is staying low, but looks really healthy and green. SS is in the middle - has fatter leaves than LZ but is stretching. All 3 are about 3" tall now and are continuing to take off. I am very happy with how healthy they are as they veg! :) *LST and SCROG will be implemented once the photo-periods are about 6" tall and have some more plant to work with*

Week 5 was a productive week for all the girls! The Auto PG grow about 3 more inches and is almost a foot tall now! She has an amazing scent - very floral and sweet - and is beginning to start forming buds! The photo-periods are doing well, too. The SS grew 2.5 more inches and LZ and HF4G grew about 2 more inches. They are very green and are being topped at the end of this week. I'm adding the SCROG net, too, and will begin LST. All plants are receiving nutrients with the Recipe for Success kit and are responding positively to it! Thanks for reading :)

Another productive week for the ladies :) Auto PG is now a foot tall (12 inches) and its buds are getting bigger - there's a main cola, but a few other secondary ones - still smells aromatic with citrus and floral notes, very nice scent so far! HF4G is now 8 inches, SS is 8.25 inches, and LZ is 7 inches now. SS is stretching - it especially stretched when I topped it at the end of last week. LZ is staying low, but many new nodes are growing on it - I will be trimming the bigger fan leaves in Week 7. HF4G is staying low, but has made a lot of progress this week! The ladies are still doing well with the Recipe for Success ratios of the Technaflora nutrients - I feed them every other day. Also, began LST training with the SCROG net - Auto PG and SS are the first to begin this training! Thank you for reading :)

I'm a little late on this past week's progress (week 7) due to the holiday this past weekend, but here are my notes for week 7: All the photoperiods are doing very well - very green and healthy. I have been training them into the SCROG net, which has allowed the new top nodes to canopy and increase in size. The SCROG net is very easy to use and the plants are responding well to it - I highly recommend it (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DJS94BD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and the merchant is very accommodating - sent me free additional hooks when I messaged them! Auto PG is at 12.5 inches now and continues to put its energy into the buds that are getting fatter! There is a main cola, but I have defoliated some of the fan leaves to ensure light gets to the lower buds - they're also fattening up. :) HF4G is stretching, not as fast as the others, but is at the SCROG net finally. It is about 12 inches now, and its big fan leaves (about the size of my hand) are being trained to go under the net, which has allowed the top nodes to stretch up into the net. SS has had the most growth this week and is now 12.5 inches. She is responding really well to the net and is stretching to the LEDs. The topping in the previous weeks seemed to increase its growth this week and it continues to stretch. Her and Auto PG are the tallest so far! LZ is continuing to grow nicely, as well, and is forming into a canopy without much training with the net. It has many new nodes at the top of it and is about 10 inches now. I am very happy with this week's progress and look forward to continuing to train the girls so they maximize their potential - have a wonderful day! :)

Last week of the veg phase for the ladies! Woohoo! All the photoperiods are doing well and are ready to flower now :-) Auto PG has been flowering since week 3, but it's buds are getting so fat and dense - such a nice smell too (citrus, floral, berries). Auto PG is 13 inches tall now - I'll prob buy more of those seeds just because she is very low maintenance and has quick growth and turn around! I got her as a freebie and I am very pleased so far! HF4G has grown - she's 12 inches tall and is a beautiful shade of green with some purple hues in the stems. She is continuing to grow into the SCROG net and is responding to the LEDs well. SS is growing with leaps and bounds - she is 14 inches tall and continues to stretch into the SCROG with some training - I have slightly bent her top branches down into the net to make a more even canopy and she bounced back later that day. SS also has purple hues in its branches! LZ is also growing with leaps and bounds! She is 13 inches tall and continues to grow into the net without much training needed and is canopying nicely. She has many new future bud locations on the top of it and seems to naturally canopy itself. All photoperiods have white hairs - SS has the most, she's a beast for sure! I'm excited for the transition to flowering! :-D I am continuing to use the Recipe for Success nutrient ratios with Technaflora - unlike previous gardens, I have not had any issues with lack of nitrogen, pests, or any discoloration with the plants. I recommend this kit because it literally covers all the needs of the plants and is really easy to use with the included ratio and garden phase document! I got this free at a music festival in 2015 and only had to replenish the Sugar Daddy nutrient, which I bought on Amazon with a decent price. The kit is reasonably priced and you can find it anywhere - online and in garden supply stores. Thanks for reading, cheers! :-) onward & upward

First week of flowering notes: SS and LZ grew like crazy! They both grew 7 inches since last week and HF4G grew 5 inches! The photoperiods are definitely in beast mode now :-) Auto PG is still putting her energy into her buds. Each cola is almost 5 inches long and they are very dense - continuing to smell nice of berries and sugar. She's got another 2 weeks to harvest! SS is such a beast. I have been training her into the SCROG net and she is now 21 inches tall! Her and LZ have shot up quickly this week. She responded well to the topping I did a couple weeks ago and continues to flourish! LZ is also growing quickly - she is now 20 inches tall! She seems to really like the LEDs and continues to stretch and canopy - not as much as SS, but still truckin along. HF4G is 17 inches tall now and she continues to stretch towards the LEDs. It's interesting that the first week of flowering settings have made the photoperiods pick up the pace. HF4G has a piney smell so far, can't wait to see how the flowers develop! I will be removing more leaves as bud sites develop, too. It's amazing how much growth has happened this week and how effective the blackout tents are. You can do a lot in a little bit of space :-) Thanks for reading and have an amazing day!

Week 10 Flowering: This was a very humid week so I did not water the ladies as much and added a dehumidifier to the tent. Despite the less-than-desirable environment issue with humidity, they all grew besides Auto PG still putting all its energy into the buds - last week for that one! I pruned Auto PG big time this week, so you can see the buds better in the pictures. HF4G is 25 inches tall now - jumping up 8 inches from last week! It is very piney scented and is tolerating the humidity well. Once the PG is done after this week, it will have more room to stretch! SS is 32 inches tall now - a foot taller than last week, crazy! She is a very robust strain and tall - likes to stretch in the beginning flowering stage. White hairs and bud sites are starting to form - sweet and sour smell so far :) LZ is 31 inches tall - growing almost a foot as well! It did not seem bothered with the high humidity and is beginning to form bud sites - smells lemony and sugary! I'm pretty happy with how the plants bounced back and made progress with high humidity and not getting as much feed and water as before - they are all pretty forgiving strains! Thanks for reading this week's progress! :)

Week 10. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

Unfortunately, Auto PG formed some mold on the bottom portion of the plant and I had to harvest it earlier than I wanted to - I wanted to give it one more week but you can never see mold so I'm forever paranoid about where it would be. It did not yield as much as it is described in the strain information online - I only got 3.2 oz wet bud. I am looking forward to the taste though and it was a free seed, so not a complete loss. I am not sure if I would do this one again, it is not very mold resistant and seems sensitive to humidity. It's like the height of this strain affects its outcome - I would not recommend this to anyone that deals with humidity in their garden environment.

Week 11 Flowering: I defoliated the plants this week and that decreased the humidity big time - they seem to be doing much better! SS remains the tallest plant at 32 inches and is adjusting to the defoliation done recently. White hairs are in the bud sites and she continues to develop them! HF4G grew 3 inches and is now 28 inches tall - has a blue tint to her leaves, very pretty! She still smells like pine and mint - looking forward to seeing what kind of scents come with more buds forming. LZ is still 31 inches tall, but the buds are getting fatter and smell like lemon candy. This is a robust strain and I have not had any issues with it yet - I will prob do this one again. I got rid of the SCROG net because these ladies were getting too tall - I will probably utilize tomato cages in the next week. Thanks for reading, happy Sunday Funday! :)

Week 14 Flowering: All the plants have an amazing scent! They have trichomes all over the forming buds and surrounding leaves. SS has a distinct diesel and sweet scent - the flowers are delicate and the hairs are thin, which make it somewhat fragile. LZ has a strong lemon kush and sugar scent - the flowers are dense and the hairs are tinted with yellow. This plant is beautiful, robust, and will definitely be one to stock up on. HF4G is blossoming nicely - now has more of a sweet scent but still with some pine mixed into it. Thanks for reading, cheers! :-)

Week 14 Flowering Notes: The flowers continue to form and the scents continue to impress - overall, pretty fruity scents from this week! They all were defoliated a little more this week (mostly on the bottom) and fan leaves compromising light reaching to bottom buds were removed. All bounced back with no issues. I added the tomato cages to LZ and HF4G as they needed the more stable support. LZ smells really nice - lemon kush and sugar scents. It is very stress resistant and bounced back after I put it into a tomato cage. She's becoming one of my favorite strains due to its rigor and uniqueness. SS's scent is smooth - tangy diesel scents and reminds me of a tropical island. She continues to show purple hues in the stems and buds covered in trichomes. HF4G has a more sweet scent in comparison to last week. It has a berry cream scent mixed with the gorilla glue pine scent, which makes a good combo - looking forward to this one. Thank you for reading, have a beautiful day! :-)

Week 15 & 16 Flowering Notes: I was out of town for about a week, so I set up some auto-watering bottles (upside down with holes punched through the bottom) with a drip spout screwed into the bottle caps. This worked nicely, when I returned the ladies were doing well, just a little dry and had some leaf burn, as you can see in the pictures. The most growth I noticed was with the HF4G - the scents have changed slightly, but still sweet, sour, and piney. SS and LZ are pretty robust strains, like I have noted before - they bounced back in about 4 hours after I fed them when I returned home. HF4G is also robust and seems like it can handle stress well. I am very happy with these photoperiods - it is such step up from the Auto PG. They all are pretty resilient with mold and do not get attacked as bad as the Auto PG did. Thanks for reading, have a beautiful day! <333

I really like this strain! It grew some nice buds with trichomes galore, along with being a low maintenance plant. I would agree with the online descriptions of this strain and would recommend it to anyone, especially music lovers! I got 5.5 oz of bud and 0.8 oz trim from HF4G! Onward & Upward/

SS turned out to be a delicious strain! This strain is hearty, but needs some maintenance to grow to her full potential. It also grows very tall and needs support as it stretches and branches out. It responded well to the nutrients I used, too! I would recommend this one to others, but I would use a tomato cage to support the long branches it grows with dense buds on them. I got 4.7 oz of bud and 1 oz of trim with SS! :-)

LZ was my favorite strain of this batch for many reasons. Not only is it super forgiving of gardening mistakes, it grows some dense, delicious bud. I am very happy with the yield of this strain considering the stress it went through and overcame. Dutch Passion knocked it out of the park with this one - I recommend it to both novice and advanced gardeners! I got 5.7 oz of bud and 1 oz of trim with LZ! ;-)
