2nd Year - learnings done

Testopfer Let's pay some attention to an almost forgotten strain here. I had already two of them last year and they were at the end a very big surprise in yield and quality - especially measured on the mistakes I made as I was a total beginner growing weed. This year I wanted to have at least one of them on my balcony. The plant is in its 4th week. Two days ago I gave her a topping and removed the small leaves at the lower end. She seems to understand the object as the two small buds at the top are growing so fast, you can even watch them while that.

Testopfer It seems, as the "dry" and "to hot" summer, especially affected by the climate change in the area of Germany, had to less sunshine to give for my plant. She is giving her best, but I would have expected more growth... One comment regarding the watering. Yes, she is getting more than enough water. As I am watering by the drain method I really don't know, how much water I am adding to one pot until it drains out of it. That's the reason why there is nothing stated.

Testopfer The sun has had a comeback this week, summer is back. The lady started flowering. Okay... I was expecting a bit more green bevor this is happening, but well... at the end there will be a harvest. I am totally curious about the way she will grow the next weeks.

Testopfer She is doing great. She was raising height last days, showing some nice flowers. The weather this days is so perfect for having a green balcony in central Europe, love it. My plants even do so, too.

Testopfer Last Week I gave her a little LST. But I wasn't gentle enough... the upper two shoots where bent too much and one of them was almost falling down 😱. I fixed the shoot with a clamp, also the cut. Until now - one week - she is still living with that. The lower blossoms like the way they can reach the light now. This could give some nice buds at the end, fingers crossed.

Testopfer Coming from last week the changes are just minor. She is developing a bit of green around the upcoming buds and those buds seem to get pretty big. I am so curious about the result of this grow. Let's be patience.
