gamberro 🌱 Germination – Week 1
📅 Seed germinated: July 22nd
📅 Planted: July 24th
⸻
🇬🇧 English Version
This is my very first cannabis grow, and I’m super excited to start this journey. I’m experimenting with Titan F1 by Royal Queen Seeds, which I received as a freebie from my local grow shop. I chose to try this one first because I read it’s very vigorous and resilient, perfect for beginners like me.
I used the classic paper towel method to germinate the seed. I placed it between two moist paper towels inside a ziplock bag, kept in a dark warm place. After 44 hours, the seed cracked and showed a healthy taproot around 1 cm long.
Today (July 24th), I planted the seed in a 4L fabric pot using Compo Sana universal soil, pre-moistened with 400 ml of dechlorinated tap water (left resting for 24h). I also added one Biotabs tablet, buried approximately 5 cm deep in the center of the pot (not in contact with the seed).
At first, I made the mistake of planting the seed about 3 cm deep, which I later corrected by carefully removing some topsoil to bring it closer to the surface (~1 cm deep now). I covered it with loose substrate and set up a homemade humidity dome using a plastic bottle (cap left off to allow airflow).
Now I’m waiting for the seedling to break the surface! So far, conditions are:
• Temp: ~20–24 °C
• Humidity: not measured, but helped with the bottle dome
• Light: ambient natural light only, will switch to LED once the seedling appears
Wish me luck! 🌱💚

¡Deseadme suerte! 🌱💚

gamberro Week 1 - Let’s go little one 🌱
The baby is out! It took a few days to pop and stretch, but here we are. It’s been a slow start though… maybe a bit too slow for a full week. I’m watering 120ml every 2 days, keeping the soil moist but not soaked. Starting week 2, I’ll switch to automatic watering as I’ll be away for a few days.
Sunlight might be a factor here. I live in Madrid, and although it’s super sunny, my terrace only gets about 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Possibly not enough for a strong start — I can see it’s a bit stretchy. Because of that, I added more soil around the stem to support it and avoid further stretching.
Overall, she’s healthy and opening up her first set of true leaves. Hoping for more noticeable growth in Week 2 now that she’s settled in!
📸 Added photos showing her progress from breaking the soil to standing tall 💪

Semana 1 - ¡Vamos pequeña! 🌱
Hey @gamberro! Welcome to the Grow Diaries community growmie. 👊
If you need any help or encounter any difficulties, this is a great place to sound off with fellow growmies - and even look for other diaries of the same strain to find inspiration or compare your own plants and progress.
I have recently run Titan F1 Auto by Royal Queen Seeds myself, and it turned out really cool. Please check out my diary "Tonya & Tanya" if you are interested!
I am going to follow along with your grow journey, your excitement is infectious and reminds me of how I felt when I first started. Do you plan to train this girl in any way?
The very best of luck with your grow! 🙏
@UnorthadoxDude, thanks so much for the warm welcome, growmie! 🙌
Really stoked to be part of this awesome community — the good vibes are real. 💚
I'll definitely check out your "Tonya & Tanya" diary — I'm super curious to see how your Titan F1 turned out. I love comparing different grows and picking up tips along the way.
As for training... yep! I'm thinking about trying some LST if she responds well early on. Still building up confidence, but I'm all in and excited to learn as I go.
Really appreciate the support and the follow — looking forward to sharing this grow journey together! 🌱✨
Grow on! 💪🔥
