Natrona Tropicanna Poison XL Auto W4F2 7/20-26 The hot weather returned with humidity and days of scattered thunderstorms. I fertilized once this week with I49 and top dressed with worm castings since I saw some yellow leaves near the bottom. Thankfully with all the rain we’ve had this month she doesn’t show any deficiencies or bud or root rot. I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. With the extreme heat and rain, my auto Tropicanna Poison XL Auto had a huge stretch a full 7 inches this week and now at 22 inches tall. There are no nutrient deficiencies and demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement. Natrona Tropicanna Ppison XL Auto- Outside W6F4 8/3-9 I wish I could share this week’s weather with you. It was sunny and comfortable in the 70-80s with 50% humidity. This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Tropicanna Poison is short under 3 feet and has a good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. I chose this strain a year or two ago and had not had the opportunity to grow it yet. This strain is from SweetSeeds red line and 85% of the seeds produce reds and pinks.
