InsideAz Fall Photos 2025: (8/1-?)
Getting a jump start on some photoperiods this year! Usually run autos all summer but I recently got an air conditioner for the grow room which allows me to keep temps down and more consistent allowing me to grow my favorite kinds of plants.. photoperiods!
This grow will consist of 4-5 photoperiod strains that I received for winning the Best Photo contest. Im extremely excited to grow these genetics and provide documentation (even if it’s just for myself) for what seems like some newer strains per breeder
Germinating these girls in paper towels to be super safe and will be planting in 2 gallon pots that were originally mixed up for some autos that did not sprout. Carefully monitored and had 100% success rate on these seeds.
Soil mixture is:
75% FoxFarm Happy Frog Potting Soil
25% FoxFarm Ocean Forest Potting Soil
10% Wiggle Work Earth Worm Castings
Ratio of 2 Tblspn/Gal Gaia Green 444

*Specific strain notes in future weeks (: *
General grow notes:
A successful first week! These girls are sending it into the pots, developing their roots and up-taking the nutrients available in the living soil.
Most seeds sprouted within 3-4 days last week and all have outgrown their germination humidity domes by the end of last week.
Watering every other day with dechlorinated tap water, PH between 6-7. Citric acid for ph down
Lights will be slightly increased from 35%-40%

This was an exciting week for the plants as they grew to twice their size and thickness within a week! With roots having a nice development this was a nice week for the girls to thrive.
Light intensity was increased to 45% early on the week
(Dechlorinated) Watering every other day or even every couple of days with a PH of 6.0-7.0. Citric acid as ph down

Another exciting week with excellent growth! Just twisting the main cola the prepare these girls to be big bushes. Trust me when I say I have plans to help these photoperiods flourish (:
Should be too dressing soon when they get a bit bigger, just a little to replenish the first used up soil as they fill out these small 2 gallon pots. Then they’ll be transplanted into 5 gallon pots
Light increased to about 50%

InsideAz Week 4: 8/27-9/3
Plants are happy and healthy this week finishing up their 4th week of life. Will be giving a top dressing on the last day of this week (9/3) they don’t need much as the soil should still have enough room to grow into for the next couple weeks. But they are drinking noticeably faster, needing water replenish every 36 hours instead of 48 so as this month comes to an end they will be desperate for nutrients before the transplant to 5 gallon pots
Top dressing 9/3:
20 tablespoons Earth Worm Castings
3 tablespoons Gaia Green 444
3 tablespoons Gaia Green 444
Leaf tucking daily now to keep up with these huge fan leaves. Some very light low stress training.
I don’t want to top or fim these girls, I’m going all natural this time. hoping with enough light penetration they can bush out on their own until they’re an appropriate height for my trellis net. Will see how the following weeks go before flower
Tent fans, room and filters were cleaned thoroughly this week, they were disgusting
Light intensity was thought to be 50% last week but it was more like 42%, increased to 50% gradually throughout this week
Water ph 6-7 using citric acid
