This is a Feminized seed from a five pack of "Cheap Seeds" which have a 1 in 5 chance of being autoflower. QCS doesn't give exact details on how the mix-up occurred or whether these are F1 (Filial 1) or some kind of back cross, and there's no guarantee of auto (20% chance indicates only some of the parents in the seed run were auto). It's seed roulette of sorts, which makes things interesting.

End of Week 1:
She's growing well. The leaf appearance reminds me of the Fruity Pebbles 2.0 after week 1, but given they share much of the same lineage it's probably to be expected.

end of Week 2:
She's doing better than she looks at first glance, a small issue with early leaves being deformed, but from looking through other diaries on here the problem seems to be genetic, specifically with Granddaddy Purple Auto from what I can see.

End of Week 3 (Day 21):
She's beginning to overcome her sensitivity to the nutrient dense soil and/or acidity being lower/higher than preferred, as the newer leaves are a lot healthier than in week 2. It's definitely the GDP genetics at play, because it mirrors the first couple weeks of the Fruity Pebbles 2.0 in leaf deformity and discolorations.
She is in 12/12 now, as she's stuck sharing the tent and lighting schedule with Ms. Stephen Hawking Kush (more like Bush). She's not quite showing yet, should be in a week or so, and if she's got any autoflower in her it may be impossible to tell because of the switch to 12/12 after 3 weeks. If she develops faster than the SHK than that might be a clue, but odds are she's a photo. either way I'll go really easy on the nutes for a while in the small chance she's an auto (as Auto's only need half as many nutrients as photos for whatever reason).
Her leaf smell is taking on a very strong diesel aroma, not at all subtle either 😷. There's literally nothing else in her aroma profile at this point but that nosehair-curling fuel smell. I'm guessing the smell comes from the Gelato 33 side, and although I've not grown Gelato 33, I'm sure its not supposed to be this strong. 😄 Maybe she'll balance out, or maybe these "cheap seeds" have more surprises left waiting.

End of Week 4 (Day 28):
After the first few weeks of riding on the struggle bus, she's now doing a lot better and racing to catch up with the SHK nearby.
She definitely has that classic hybrid vigor. Her fan leaves are pretty big. I think there's lots of potential with this hybrid.

End of Week 5 (day 35):
She's stretching really well, displaying a dominant stem and shorter surrounding shoots that I believe comes from the Gelato #33 genetics. I've not really done much trimming or defoliation, yet she looks almost naked. Her leaves indicate some stress, but the vigorous growth and appetite say "full steam ahead, Mister."
With a sample size of one it's hard to know if she's the 1 in 5 chance Autoflower or not. I may pop the rest of the Gelato x GDP seeds out of curiosity at some point in the future, but its not a priority.
