2 Tangie - Outdoor Grow

SmokingWolverine This was an interesting week, I bought seeds for the first time from Dr. Seeds seedbank. I learned a lot about growing marijuana from seed. Everything is going according to plan, I'm surprised about the one Tangie that wants to grow quickly. I'm going to have to transplant her as she is touching the dome.

SmokingWolverine This week the seedlings started to grow. The tangie seem to sprout more than the others, had to bury it deep in the transplanted pot. Still just misting with pH balanced water and covering with domes. Can't wait to see some true leaves.

SmokingWolverine This week was an interesting week, I did a lot of research on nutrients and watering. Just to say there is way more types and many ways to use those types of nutrients while growing then I could read in a life time. Yesterday I started a nutrient schedule. I decided to go with Green Planet Dual Fuel and I will be adding Rezin later on. Day 21 Feeding 2 Cups, Water/Nutes: PPM 166; pH 6.07. Blue Dream: Runoff: PPM 653; pH 5.41 Tangie: Runoff: PPM 780; pH 5.32 Tangie (2): Runoff: PPM 624; pH 5.58

SmokingWolverine This week was bitter sweet, the Tangies started to grow, but my poor Blue Dream did not make it through the week. I'm assuming it wasn't ready for nutrients and it could not overcome the shock. I may still have time to start a new Blue Dream, although I'm sure the yield will be smaller. I've gone back to just pH balanced spritzing as the watering with overflow seems to make the soil too wet. I've been putting them on the window sill during the day to get some real sun, and back under the lights when the sun moves past.

SmokingWolverine This week was pretty slow and simple, I did have an accident with a fluorescent bulb and had repot them to remove the glass Continued the spritz pH balance water when they dried. Some more growth. Placing them outside when sun is shining.

SmokingWolverine So this week scared me, as the leaves started to turn yellow. I was told it was either over watering or nutrients in the soil. So I place them outside during the day when it was hot and sunny, which dried out the soil and 3 out of the 4 plants were laying on their sides when I got home from work and the soil was very dry. I propped up the stems and gave them some pH 6.0 water around the edges. I've been putting them out when the sun is shinning, but they still seem small to me, hoping to soon leave them outside 24/7.

SmokingWolverine With the issues I had last week with moisture control, I decided to repot my two plants into solo cups. Still just using pH 6.0 water as required once they dry.

SmokingWolverine What a week a difference makes, I thought I was going to lose my crop, but boy did they bounce back. Small pot and better water control and they are doing well now. I have left them outside the last two days overnight. I bring them inside if we are expecting a storm. Still watering once needed once the plants dry.
