OnlyBuds Here we go again – starting a brand new run with a very special lineup:
• Santa Maria F10 – a home-bred line from a friend, worked on for ten generations.
• GMO Skittles by Ethos – bringing that modern twist to the grow.
In total, 21 seeds were put to germinate.
Since I ran out of small pots, only 19 seedlings were placed into 0.3L starter pots with Light Mix – but the amazing thing is: all of them germinated successfully. All in!
For the first watering I used Root Juice + Effective Microorganisms (EM) to stimulate root growth and kick off the microbial life in the soil.
The full plan for this project looks like this:
• Phase 1 – Seedlings (0.3L pots): Germination and early growth with light watering, Root Juice and EM.
• Phase 2 – Transplant to 3L pots: After around 10 days, once the roots have built a nice base, the seedlings will be transplanted into 3L pots with a slightly richer soil mix (including worm castings and leonardite). This gives them a strong middle stage before the final move.
• Phase 3 – Selection: After sexing, I’ll keep at least 6 strong females (minimum 4) for the final run.
• Phase 4 – Final transplant into 15L pots: This will be the main soil blend with Light Mix, worm castings, dolomite lime, leonardite and Guanokalong – strong enough to carry them through flower.
• Training: Plants will be topped above the 5th node, encouraging bushy growth and even canopies. I expect this to slightly delay preflower, but it should pay off in structure and yield.
• Timeline: Roughly 40 days of veg, followed by 8–10 weeks of flower, depending on phenotype expression.
The idea is to let the organic soil do most of the heavy lifting, while supporting with EM + molasses for soil life and aroma. Keep it natural, keep it strong.
So far, everything is looking good – seedlings are up, green and healthy. The journey begins. 🌱✨

OnlyBuds Week 2 – Transplant & Tent Move
Big progress this week! 🌿
All seedlings were transplanted from the 0.3L starter pots into 3L pots with a richer soil mix (Light Mix + worm castings + leonardite). The roots had already filled the small cups nicely, so the timing was just right. Transplant went smooth – no shock, no drooping, they just kept growing.
At the same time, the whole project was moved into the main tent. More space, better airflow, and fresh conditions for the ladies to develop. Everything feels dialed in now.
All 19 seedlings are looking healthy and adapting perfectly. Growth is steady, leaves are strong green, and some already start giving off a surprisingly strong smell when touched. Exciting times ahead! 🚀

OnlyBuds Week 3 – First Training: Topping & Defoliation ✂️🌿
This week the focus was all about the first cuts. The plants have reached the 5th/6th node, so it was time to take the scissors out. I decided to top them above the 5th node to encourage strong side branching and a bushier structure for the upcoming weeks. Not all of them were topped – only the ones that were big enough and ready for it.
Along with topping, I also did a light defoliation. Some fan leaves were removed to give better airflow and more light penetration to the lower sites. The ladies handled it well, no stress visible so far. 💪
Watering this week:
• 10 ml FishMix
• 10 ml Amino
• 20 ml Effective Microorganisms (EM)
• a bit of Molasses
→ mixed into 10 liters of water, pH adjusted to ~6.6.
The plants reacted positively and are bouncing back fast after the haircut. Can’t wait to see the side branches explode in the coming days. 🌱🔥
