Boofy's Growing Up

LowBudgetGrower Since my substrate is pre-fertilized, I only want to fertilize when the plant starts flowering or shows signs of nutrient deficiency. And I'll do a little SoG training to keep the plants from growing too tall.

LowBudgetGrower Week two of the Vegetation begins. One Plant has some deformations. I hope she will be fine.

LowBudgetGrower Week 3 begins, and the deformed plant seems to be doing quite well. The new leaves all appear to be fine.

LowBudgetGrower Since the plants don't show any nutrient deficiencies so far, I'm not fertilizing them yet. And since the plant grows very bushy, I don't have to train it much for SoG. I just keep a few large leaves down to give the new shoots as much light as possible.

LowBudgetGrower Since the plants are starting to bloom, I decided to start fertilizing.

LowBudgetGrower The second week of flowering begins with me re-tying the plants to get as much light as possible to the flowers.

LowBudgetGrower The originally deformed plant doesn't seem to like the fertilizer at all and has dropped many leaves. So this week I'll only water it and fertilize it again next week.

LowBudgetGrower In the last week of fertilizing, I increased the amount slightly so that the plants could put all their energy into the flowers.
