Good growth being shown early on, a few crinkles in the leaves but otherwise all looking good. Growth starting to take hold quite well. First signs of very wide, large indica leaves.
Vegetative growth well underway now. Started with some light LST and leaf tucking to expose lower nodes. Wide, large leaves really taking over now. Not much vertical growth, but getting wide.
Pre-flowering pistils gave way to flowering by the end of week 5. First defoliation took place, removing about 2 leaves every other day. Structure remained very short, with an even wide canopy. Stems so thick it's hard to train.
Week 6 saw the continued growth of pistils, with a few starting to mature. Trichome development started on the fan leaves of the main bud site. Plant remains small and stocky, with minimal stretch. Required moderate defoliation to get enough light into the canopy.
Week 7 has the first signs of scent, as trichomes continue to build on the buds and leaves. She remains very small with not much pistil development outside of the main node. Update: Later into this week, the trichomes really started to develop with the fan leaves becoming really frosty.
Starting to mature quite quickly now, under macro there are now amber trichomes on the sugar leaves. Getting ready to give one more feed before flushing,
Dealing with a thrip issue in the tent this week, will be introducing predatory mites as IPM for the other plants. She is bulking a little bit, but the yield from this is going to be dismal. Not sure if it is just genetics or what, but she barely stretched 5cm during her veg to flower stretch. Branches are mostly void of bud except for the tops, where 1-3 gram bud sites exist. I'm expecting around 15g off her.
The smoke tastes amazing, and she hits really hard. Initial notes are sweet berry mixed with a gassy undertone. Body high for sure, and heavily stimulates the appetite.
Amazing terps and also really good trichome development through the grow, very frosty strain. There was almost 0 stretch during flowering, which meant my yields were very low in the end - which was my only complaint.
I've got a strawberry gum fem going from the indian seeds . It's very dark broad Indica leaves stocky approx 35 cms for 6 weeks
Not branching that well but sent it to 12/12.
But yours looks great nicely filling out lets see how far she stretches in next few weeks 😂🤘🍓🍓🍓
