mindful_tree Seeds soaked in a glass of water, then forgotten for 4 days :D After that, placed in Eazyplug and kept moist. The seed coat had wrapped unfavorably around the leaves and the membrane wouldn’t come off. Helped it out with tweezers.

mindful_tree After the germination went unexpectedly well, I placed the seedling with the Eazyplug directly into the final pot to minimize root damage. With automatics, you're always racing against time, so I just skip the intermediate size. To prevent CalMag deficiency right from the start, I've already added a bit from the first week; all other nutrients will follow in the coming weeks. The plant is growing without much intervention, and soon it's time for training the little one :D

mindful_tree After the plant developed yellow tips on the first fan leaves, I decided to flush it and not fertilize for now. Even though it was just a dose of CalMag, it seems to have been a bit too much for the plant. Fortunately, after the flush, the spots didn't spread, and the plant is happily growing and already developing a very intense smell. The lower leaves are currently drooping a bit at the edges, but they'll grow up a bit more and be removed later. Once the fourth node is reached, I'll probably top it again.

mindful_tree Since the flushing after the early fertilization, I haven't used any more nutrients, and I probably won't need the calcium and magnesium nutrients either after I measure my watering. The topping has been well tolerated by the plant, and the two new main shoots are growing nicely. The smell remains very intense, and it's always a joy to open the tent. Starting next week, I will begin with light organic fertilization, and the LST will slowly become necessary.

mindful_tree Unfortunately, I've gotten mixed up with the weeks. So I can't really tell from the pictures which is week 4 or 5 anymore. Unfortunately, the plant seems to have suffered from a nutrient deficiency because I, as I've now found out, used the wrong soil information and should have fertilized significantly stronger in the light mix with a 100w lamp. At first, I wasn't sure if it was a deficiency or leaf septoria because the first plant of this genetic developed septoria under different conditions for me. So I would need to defoliate, research, and counteract. I hope the plant recovers soon and I still get a somewhat decent harvest. Since this is an autoflowering, time is clearly working against me.

mindful_tree Apparently, I can't get a handle on the deficiency, and in the meantime, the plant has pretty much stopped growing and has gone through several defoliations. Still, fan leaves keep turning brown, and the scent of the plant from the beginning is hardly there. This is already the second plant for me that's growing like this, and I don't see what's going wrong. Maybe someone has an idea of what I could do better here. I would definitely appreciate any tips. This is making growing not much fun for me, and I don't know if I'll keep the plant until the end.
