Chucky324 Hello. This the start of my Hulk OG diary.
I won a runner up prize in their contest and asked for this strain from IZI seeds.
I started all 4 seeds but only one seed made it out of the soil.
The seed that came up was cracked and I didn't think it was going to sprout. But here it is.
The other smaller seeds didn't make it.
I don't like floaty seeds... so I put them in a silk tea bag so they stay submerged.
I use Reverse Osmosis water from the water store, but it was 5.1 ph when I tested it. Adjusted to 6.2.
I start with 2 cups and I add a pinch of cinnamon because it's anti fungal and has similar properties as cloning gel. And the seeds don't mind it.
I add 4 drops of 30% Hydrogen Peroxide to help clean the water of fungus and bacteria and adds extra oxygen for the little seedlings.
I soak them for 24 hours before putting them on the paper towels and then checking them after another 24 hours.
I'll find another good underground comic for this diary... And I'll post pics from it a few weeks for your enjoyment.
OK. Have Fun.
Chuck.

Chucky324 Hello. This is the first week of this diary.
I found out why 3 of the little seedlings didn't come up.
I started some more seeds, of my own cross, and found when I was poking in the soil, why these 3 seedlings didn't come up.
When I needed more potting soil I store the packages in the greenhouse. When I bought it I didn't think much about the one heavy package.
I just though a bit of water got in that one, but when I was poking in the soil I found some small white wormy type of things hanging on to the new little seedling's roots.
So I had used the same soil for these plants and when I was poking around to see what had happened to them I saw the little white things but they didn't move and I thought they were the fungus's white roots.
So I guess the little wormy things got into the wet bag of soil and I could see them when I used the soil for the little seedlings.
I guess I'll try to dry all soil I use from now on... or I used to freeze my indoor seedling soil in a 2 gallon sealed container for a couple of days to kill any unwanted guests. I got lazy... I'll start to do that again.
I'll treat the soil next watering for any other unwanted guests.
The one plant is doing good.
OK Have Fun.
Chuck.
