PlantMike I got 4 of these seeds as testers when I ordered from Humboldt. Excited to test these as they are of great lineage from HSC. Paper towel germinated and popped into 1.5 pint cups, amended the beds and planted into their 10 gal pots once they had 2 sets of true leaves. I'll update this diary regularly for those that are interested to see what this Humboldt experiment has to offer!

PlantMike Now that the girls have been in the custom soil for about 8 days now, the growth is noticeable and taking off, added another Vivosun fan in to help distrivute airflow and monitoring the lung room as fall temps are making the humidity fall, may be adding in a humidifier soon. Right now the girls are growing nicely and each week should show substantial difference!

PlantMike The papaya pancakes are taking off now! Watering every other day to keep the living soil active and fertilizing every 5 days. I did foliar spray with mostly the same recipe as above just backed down with some quillaja for surfactant. Two fans going for air flow. The girls are thriving!

PlantMike The papaya pancakes tester is looking good! I topped three days ago and have been watering regularly with a single feed since last update. I added in some canopy side lighting that has some red spectrum diodes as I am not happy that the light in this tent is so far into the blue spectrum. The girls a trucking along nicely and I'll flip to flower by next update!

PlantMike We're starting day 3 of flower today, since I added 3000k light and shortened the light cycle before flipping to flower I'm finally seeing some extension of the internodal space, I don't think I'll have to worry about these girls running into the lights. I fed some compost tea yesterday and I feel with the biofish and fish bone meal added into the soil at the beginning of the grow there should be plenty of P to carry them well into flower. Hopefully we get some stretch!

PlantMike The papaya pancake testers in this tent are transitioning to flower nicely, still squat plants but they are stretching better than before. I added 2,spider farmer 660nm light bars that turn on for the last few hours of lights on and then stay on for 15 minutes post lights out to simulate more red to the plants. All kelp has been cut off now to avoid PGR's into mid flower but I have increased the sugars to stimulate biology into overdrive as well as added some enzymes to provide all needed elements to the plant. Can't wait to start smelling some terpenes from these testers!
