Gabgrow Seeds planted directly in substrate. Took about five days for them to germinate. Temperatures on these days were around 11~20ºC with a RH above 60%. Automatic seeds were planted on 19L fabric pot and feminized ones on 3,5 L plastic pots (planning to transpant them after to 19L fabric pots), and one directly in a 15l fabric pot.

Gabgrow First week and our AK47 auto is showing some weird leaf formation. I Have grown this strain from this breeder before and got the same "mutation". I heard that "Seis Pés" sell mainly bulk seeds, but got some good results on a Blueberry auto and the one AK with the same mutation is doing fine despite everything. I will have to wait and see. Not much on the gelatos besides a little floopy stem, which I amended with some wire guidance. Soil has been a little more wet than I planned due to high humidity, causing the development of some kind of moss on the perlite of the substract.

Gabgrow not much on this week besides a little increase in light intensity to 40%. still having trouble with fungs gnats but already ordered new stick traps and an organic biodefensive solution (EMS5). thinking on transplanting the ones on smaller pots on next week, lets see how they develop until there.

Gabgrow No grow techiniques performed this week. Nothing besides unclorinated water. Transpanting postponed to next week, after that I'll start with fertilization. Ak auto mutated so hardly that it lost its main stem, it end out as if I topped her.

Gabgrow Major changes this week: 1) plants that started on 3,5L plastic pots were transplanted; 2) LST applied to all of them; 3) started to apply nutrition + biodefensive for the fungus gnats 4) all of them moved to the bigger tent with 240W LED grow light set up to 50%. All of them are responding very well and showing vigorous growth. LST clips were completly ignored by the plants. They will probably require the application of other techniques alongside of LST to manage their growth. Still deciding between topping them or ScrOG. Best regards to every grower out there.

Gabgrow This week I applied some intensive defoliation on the bigger gelato to manage her growth. It would be interesting if the other gelatos could catch up on this one so I could get a nice coverage. AK auto is showing early signals of flowering, on her nutrition I added 1 ml/liter of BioBizz Bloom and 1 of Top Max. LST clips that I applied on main steam end out generating a kind of supercrop, reason why Im adding HST to techniques applied this week. Besides that I got a nice side branching development, which I'll try to further improve before flipping to flowering on the next two weeks. Thinking on appling a leaf tucking technique on the smaller ones to give them a chance while I selectively defoliate the bigger one.

Gabgrow I'm flipping to flower today. 13/11 light schedule will be implemented on the first four weeks of flowering. We will be testing the hypothesis proposed on the following article: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38337966/. The idea is that longer phothoperiods may trigger increased production in modern cannabis strains. Besides that, I would like to share that I'm very happy with the canapy coverage that I managed to get. The selective defoliation worked out and they are as even as possible now. The last report on this week is on my battle against the fungs gnats. It has been a long fight. The enemie showed very early on germination phase, maybe because it's a backlog problem from my last grow. Since I couldn't lower humidity or increase airflow, their population exploded. Since them, they've been very resilient. Many strategies were implemented on my side, and I have to admit it was no easy battle. The enemy resisted to the dryback and to the increased airflow, implemented once seedlings were a little bigger. After that, they attacked forcefully and strategic adjustments had to be adopted: Sticky traps implemented thwarted the combatant's relentless attack. Further incursions were necessary, the use of spies (efficient microorganisms), and budget strategies (hydrogen peroxide and deliberate drought) caused an almost irreversible impact on the enemy. After all that they were still there, waiting for me to be distracted so they could attack again. I didn't blink before implementing my last attack: a Biohazzard offensive with Bacillus Thuringiensis. To see their dead bodies lying down on the tent is now a very pleasant sight for my sour eyes at this point.

Gabgrow Not much on this week since it seens that the war against the fungs gnats is almost over. Flipped the hole tent to flower and moved the AK auto the the another tent where the light schedule is 18/6. We are starting flowering on a 13/11 schedule and lights are going on during night time to compensate the temperature from summer here on south hemisfer. Regarding the nutrition, I started applying BioBizz Top-Max and Bloom to the previous recipe. I also applied the defoliation technique, despite not wanting to stunt their early flowering streech, to manage canopy since it was going crazy. My cat is helping me on this task of defoliation, as shown on the last pic 😁.

Gabgrow Not much on this week besides a strong streech and the set-up of an aquabox system to manage some days I'll be out for holidays. Mantaining the same nutrition and feeding through acqua box. Almost any gnats on the tent on this week. Not doing much besides trying to avoid disrupting their streech period. Good growing to everyone! Ps. Almost forgot: AK moved to a smaller tent with another plant I'm reporting in a separated diary since she is an autoflower and I belive it would be most beneficial a 18/6 light schedule

Gabgrow Steady and vigorous growth this week. One of the gelatos had an accidental topping. My cat dug a hole in one of the pots during the first week of flowering stretch, resulting in a longer stretch phase for one of the plants. She was clearly going to surpass the light height, so I decided to apply some supercropping strategy. Well, as many of you might know, I end up breaking the plant main stem. She did recovery well after two weeks of intense stress and is managing to put out some flowers. Not much on the others besides a steady and constant growth. Not much smell yet, too. Waiting some major changes on the next few days as they start to fatten up and put some smells. Good growing to everyone and a Happy New Year!

Gabgrow Happy new Year to everyone growing out there! Very happy that my plants managed to survive, as I traveled this whole week. A friend came to water the AK-Auto that is in the 60x60 grow tent. I didn't installed the water box on this tent since I was uncertain about its efficiency. I have to admit that I'm very surprised with the water box results. Last pic shows that root development gone crazyyy! 😃 Not much besides that and the fact that one of my plants streeched so much it touch on the LED painel, the one my cat dug last week 😭. To think that it was a side branch and it's reaching the painel makes me less worried about the main steem I broke last week. Happy 2026 and many harvests for us✊

Gabgrow Happy to share that I harvest the AK-auto this week. Not ideal timing but managed to get some good weight and quallity. Needed some more space on the other tent as my Aliento was becoming overgrown for its pot size. It turned out better than I expected. On the gelatos side I belive it still needs more 4-5 weeks to harvest. This week I applied some intensive defoliation and lolly popping. As shown in the pictures this side branches were already flowering and I may be overdue on it, but I tried to avoid disrupting them on their strech phase. Happy growing to everyone

Made some cannabutter already while still fresh, so I don't have final weight. I estimate that the harvest was around 40grams. It was a easy growing strain, but I wouldn't grow it again. As I mentioned all my ak autos had a weird mutation and I have grown blueberry autos from the same bank that were much better.
