HadMatterism At the end of August, I left 3 seedlings with a friend before 3 weeks of travel, and when I returned I learned that only 1 had survived - a Super Afghan. I had a Jack Herer seedling and another Super Afghan. Upon returning, I germinated a range of seeds in a staggered window over the past month. I live in the mountains of Peru at 10k ft elevation. The sun is intense here. I am growing outdoors in relatively small pots - and growing 2 plants per pot. This is a new process for me, as well as first time with Autos. We are entering into rainy season, so I'm exciting to start growing in alignment with the rhythm of nature. I have some experience mostly with indoor grows, though I've grown a couple baby plants here outdoors. My goal is to manage the canopy in to bushy structure with LST and topping. I also am interested in cloning these and setting up a mother room to keep the genetics alive for the ones I want to continue to cultivate. My goal is to grow top quality bud for myself and to share with friends and family. Yield is important, but secondary to quality. I'm using a soil blend of local compost, perlite, rocks, and potting soil. I am considering Lotus nutrients. Any input/thoughts would be appreciated.

HadMatterism I just let nature do it's thing this past week. Super Afghan showing preflower traits. Makes sense as germinated at beginning of Sept. It's gonna be a baby nug plant. Transplanted her to larger pot. Everything else seems to be settling in. The Blueberry is by far the most happy. It's growing rapidly and I haven't fed any plants anything. Will start light feeding this upcoming week. 1/2 Strawberry Coughs broke through soil yesterday

HadMatterism Blueberry is thriving. Just water and intense sun this past week. The strawberry cough is taking off. There's seemingly a clearly stronger phenotype of the Hindu kush. Will likely clone it in a few weeks, along with the SC and OG. The OG is slower than the rest. Also seemingly a clearly stronger phenotype. One of the Afghan Kushs seems to have a mutation that isn't producing good new growth.

HadMatterism Blueberry are super healthy. One is showing preflower. Seems like only one of the Afghan is going to grow well - some type of mutation in one them creating twisted new growth. Just been giving water and sunlight. Hindu kush seems to be settling in well. The OG not so much - slower growth perhaps not liking the climate as much.

HadMatterism Blueberry is continuing to flourish. LST a couple days ago and recovered quickly. Still only sunlight and water for all - not showing any deficiencies or needs. May start top dressing next week. Blueberry had some spider mites on bottom leaves. Removed them, and sprayed a couple leaves with a 1:4 dish soap solution. Hindu seems to be rooting it well. Rate of growth is increasing. The mutant Afghan is also doing okay - growing as if it was topped, so I'm curious how it develops. Thicker leaves and purpley - gets down to about 10c at night, and seems like it's a bit of an edge for it. Going to transplant a baby strawberry cough to a larger pot this upcoming week. May be a little earlier, but gather that it's a small cup for it at the moment. The OG is still kind of runty, but may just need a bit more time for root development.

HadMatterism LST blueberry. More bud sites exposed to direct sunlight. Hindu and Afghan are starting to take off. Excited to see how long before they flip as they are photoperiod. Strawberry is settling in. Transplanted another strawberry seedling. Seems to be settling in. OG autos are still quite runty. They're alive but very slow growth. Not sure what's up with them.

HadMatterism Busy week in the garden! Had a little mixup early in the week where I accidentally feed all the plants 11+ ph water. Maybe 6 hours later I realized what happened, and flushed all plants thoroughly. They seem to be fine, though some leaves showed some signs of onset of lockout From the flush, realized maybe I have been under watering a bit, or not water enough on the days I water. So recommiting to full soak + run off when watering. Blueberry has stretched a good bit this week - have been training her as she stretches. One a bit more stretch than the other. The Afghans are taking OFF! Have been training and defoliating it - super thick main stem. Curious how big it will get before flipping (photo). Hindu is taking all of all so. Not as bushy and thick growth as Afghan, but can see the similarities between the two. Also training and light defoliating. Strawberries and OG are getting new growth, though slowly. Cleaned up another little gathering of spider mites under the OG - curious if they were stunting their growth.
