PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barneys Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 12 - watered with 250ml of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. today is her first day of veg, she is growing her second set of leaves and is looking very healthy 👍🏻 Day 15 - I watered her with another 250ml of RO tap water with nutrients, but this time the pH was on point, so we skipped it. I had accidentally poured the water solution over her leaves, I tried to dab as much of the moisture off, but as you can see it damaged her starter leaves a bit, but she'll be okay! I've noticed a slight smell from her now too, which a great sign 🤘🏻

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x BackpackBoyz Day 20 - water upped from 250ml to 500ml and I've introduce growth nutrients and reduce the root nutrients as we don't need that anymore. ph came to 6.2 naturally 👍🏻 Day 23 - watered with 500ml of RO water with nutrients. Shes growing really well, her first few fan leaves have long stems, so I've decided not to defoliate this week, but next week we'll need to start some low stress training (LST).

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 26 - Watered with 500ml of RO tap water with defined nutrients, ph came to 6.1 so I left it at that. I've removed her starter leaves and I've began LST on her, by pinning down her second set of leaves, allowing more light to reach her lower nodes. Her stems are so long, its wasn't necessary to remove any other leaves at this point. She's growing really well, the internodal spacing is very good, so I'm still debating on which grow technique to use or whether I should just let her take off... Notes: - I've included the PH chart, (in the photos) which I use to determine the PH of the solution for soil. Usually anything between 6.2 and 6.6 is okay, with 6.4 being ideal. A lot of people say 6.5, but I think 6.4 allows the plant to get the most of everything. If my solution comes to anywhere near 6.2 on the low end or 6.6 on the high end, I tend to leave it, I don't like playing PH tenis.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 32 - Watered upped to 1L, and is made of RO tap water with defined nutrients. The ph came to 5.8, so I used BioBizz pH up to bring the pH to 6.3. I continued with the LST method, by pinning down her axillary bud stems down and away from the main stem. Day 34 - I removed a few of her larger leaves, to improve airflow and light penetration.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 38 - Watered upped to 2 liters, of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. Big stretch on her this week, nearly double of what she was, she has a lovely weak smell off her now too - I think she's just about ready to switch over to a 12/12 light schedule, but I'll let her veg for another week or so 👍🏻 in the meantime, I've introduced a low amount of bloom nutrients to her watering. Notes: - she has good internodal spacing at the bottom, but she's a bit tight at the top; I might need to put the light up another few cm. I've left her top fan leaves on this week, just to give her time to shoot up a bit also; normally I would remove them to allow the lower nodes to catch up. - another round of Defoliation was required this week to improve light penetration, I also removed a couple of nodes that were in bad locations.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 45 - Watered upped to 3 liters, of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She has grown so well, to a point where I think she is ready to go into flower, so I have moved her into the flowering tent a little earlier than expected - and within 24 hours of doing this, her pistils appeared on her bud sites! She'll be sharing the tent with the Kush Mass Auto, which is in the final days of her lifecycle. Notes: - moved into the flowering tent, which is on a 12/12 light schedule. - lollipopped all lower stems, as the bud sites on these will never amount to anything, and to encourage them to stretch towards the light. - When I see her bud sites show signs of flower, I will consider her ""in flower"", but for now, I still consider her ""in veg"".

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 53 - Watered with 2 liters of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. As you can see from the pictures, the Kush Mass has left the tent and has been replaced with the Blue Zushi, which will keep this beauty company for the rest of her lifecycle. This week, I removed a lot of foliage from her, as well as a couple of her lower stems, which we're not in a good location for light. She is growing well and judging by the pistils appearing on the base of her stems, she is getting closer to flower; I'd say in the next week or so, we'll start to see signs of her transition to bloom. Notes: - I've added some support bars to the flowering tent, as you can see in the pictures, because I had weight issues in my previous grow, where the stems couldn't support the weight of the bud. These bars will allow me to tie the stems up against the wall of the tent; rather that use a net, which can have other issues.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 61 - Watered with 2 liters of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She is now visibly growing flower, so from this week on she will be "in flower" 🎉. She has had an incredible stretch this week, over 20cm, but this meant another lolly popping session, as a number of her bud sites and stems were just too far below the canopy. Her canopy is fairly level now, so I will let her grow for a few more weeks before I perform any more defoliation.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 66 - Watered with 2 liters of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3 - shes extremely thirsty these days and is hitting 10% water content in 2 days now rather than the ideal 3, so I will be upping her watering to 3 liters from now on. Looking at her, her bud sites are developing well and I think she's just over 2 weeks into flower now, so taking my learnings from previous grows, I've decided to add a net to the flower tent, to help seperate each individual stem and for stem support, which she will need later on, when her flower becomes too heavy. So far so good 🙌 Notes: - no defolation this week, I've just let her do her thing. - her stretching is slowing down now, she will soon focus all her energy on growing her flower 💪

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 74 - Watered with 3 liters of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. This week, this beauty stopped stretching and started developing her flower, and I can easily say, shes got some of the most beautiful bud sites I've seen in my own personal grows - shes absolutely beautiful! As for working on her, not much other than removing a couple of fan leaves to improve light... shes easy going man 👌

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm x Backpack Boyz Day 80 - Watered with 3 litres of RO tap water, with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She has stopped stretching and is now focusing on developing her flower, and her smell is starting to shine; sweet floral. She has a a nice structure, but she is a little bushy as the top, which will reduce the light penetration just below the canopy, so I have added under canopy lighting to supplement this. Notes: - She has been moved into the 3x3 on a 12 hour light schedule, to give her more space. - I have added under canopy lights to help increase the PPFD at the lower bud sites.

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm Day - watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She is really focusing on bulking this week and has required feeding every second day, as a posed to the every three day usual; or when the moisture content of the soil drops below 10%. Since lollipopping her a few weeks ago, I have not had to do any work on her, but today I removed about six fan leaves from her, to help improve light penetration. I have also added side lighting, to boost the PPFD hitting the nodes under the canopy 🤞🏻 Notes: - her smell is coming through, extremely candy, but is being eclipsed by the Blue Zushi, which is a lot more pungent 🤘🏻 - her bud is bulking really well, and they're hard and dense to the touch!

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm Day 95 - watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She's been bulking really well and has started to pull nutrients from her fan leaves. I will monitor her maturity from this week, I'm thinking harvest could be as soon as two weeks from today 🙏🏻

PapaTerps Black Cherry Gushers - Barney's Farm Day 102 - watered with 3L of RO tap water with nutrients, mixed individually, in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She has finished bulking her flower and is now maturing, her leaves and part of her flower have started to take on a dark purple colour indicating that she coming close to the end of her lifecycle. I have started to reduce the amount of nutrients I've been giving her, as I prepare her for harvest. I will continue to do this untill her final week, when she will be given just plain RO tap water; this is known as the flushing process.
