phobic94 Week 1 – Rooting and Early Recovery Stage First organic test run with the Plagron Bio line – Goal: yield, learning, and fine-tuning --- 👋 Hello everyone! I’m starting this new grow journal focused on organic cultivation, with the goal of experimenting, learning, and sharing my progress with the community. This is my first experience using the Plagron Bio line, so it will be a full test to observe how the plants respond to a natural and slow nutrient release. The clones arrived by mail (4 days in transit) and have now been exactly one week in the soil. --- 🔧 Setup Overview • Grow Space: 120 × 120 × 180 cm • Medium: Plagron Light Mix mixed with worm compost • Grow Method: Soil • Lighting: Lumatek Compact 465W  – 24h of light for the first 3 days  – Now running 18/6 (lamp distance ~50 cm, DLI 30) • Climate Control: Inkbird controller system  – Temperature: 23–24.5 °C  – Humidity: 60–70 % --- 🌱 Strains • 3 × Rainbow Sherbet • 3 × Lemon Haze The clones handled shipping fairly well and are starting to recover. New leaves are appearing, and the overall structure is becoming more vigorous day by day. --- 💧 Nutrients • Line: Plagron Bio (fully organic) • Starting at 10% of the recommended dose, slowly increasing as the plants respond. • Goal: promote soil biology and encourage balanced, healthy growth 🌿 --- ☀️ Grow Objectives Achieve optimal yield while maintaining plant health Learn to fine-tune climate and feeding in a full organic grow Test a UV-B lamp at the end of the vegetative phase to observe its effects on vigor and quality --- 📅 Current Stage – Week 1 The plants are in their rooting and stabilization phase after transport. Foliage is slightly light green — normal with slow-release organic nutrients. Growth is picking up gradually, and environmental parameters remain stable. 🔜 Next Steps: → Encourage active vegetative growth → Keep climate steady (23–24 °C / 60–70 % RH) → Prepare the first light organic feeding → Observe plant reactions before entering Week 2 🌱 --- Happy growing everyone! 🌿

phobic94 Hi everyone, a quick recap of week 2. The week started off a bit complicated: my extractor fan broke down on Friday. While waiting for the new one (supposedly arriving this Friday), I left the tent door open to prevent the dehumidifier from making the temperature rise too high. It actually stabilized the temperatures quite well, so it held up without any problems. I topped the plants 5 days ago; it was initially the only thing I planned to do this week. But since I had some free time today, I decided to start LST (Low Stress Training) on most of the plants to open up the structure a bit. However, one of the indicas is growing more slowly and seems a bit weaker. I haven't touched this one: no topping, no LST. I prefer to let it recover peacefully and see how it develops before doing anything to it. For watering, I did two waterings this week: one with a small dose of nutrients, and another with just Power Roots + enzymes. Since it's an organic grow, I don't adjust the pH. I just measure it out of curiosity to see where I stand, but I don't change it. Overall, everything is going well: the sativas are starting to get a bit taller, the indicas are staying more compact, and the foliage is clean. No deficiencies, no strange symptoms. For now, I'm letting the plants recover from the topping and LST. Once the new extractor fan is installed and the plants have grown a bit more, I'll start preparing the SCROG setup in the coming weeks. Happy growing everyone!

phobic94 Hey everyone, a quick update for week 3. It was a busy week. I did a good leaf cleaning session to open things up a bit (no pictures, I was focused on it). After that, I increased the DLI to 42, which initially lightened the new growth a little, but they're already starting to regain a more normal color—a logical reaction after pruning, more light, and watering. I continued LST on most of the plants. The plant on the left, which was a bit weaker at the beginning, has finally recovered well, so I topped it this week to help it catch up with the others. This week, I watered twice: the first time with a little nutrient solution, then I added a thin layer of worm castings on top, and during the second watering, I only used water to gently allow the organic matter to settle. I also had a small issue with my Blumat pressure gauge, which remained stuck around 260 mbar, even after watering. This is probably due to the roots pulling directly on the probe, or a small air bubble in the tube. I'll reposition it or clean the tip to get reliable readings. Good news: my new extractor fan and filter arrived and are already installed. The climate is now much more stable, especially with the slightly higher DLI. Overall, the plants are doing well: the sativas are starting to stretch, the indicas are staying more compact, and the overall structure is settling in nicely. Everything is recovering well from LST and pruning. If they continue like this, I should be able to switch to a 12/12 light cycle within a week, once everything has fully stabilized.

phobic94 Hey everyone, a quick update for week 4 This week I removed a lot of leaves. They grow back very quickly and the inside keeps closing up, so I did a thorough cleaning to open up the structure a bit and let the light in. It's barely been pruned before it starts growing again, but at least it breathes better. On Monday I switched to a 12/12 light cycle. I was starting to worry about the height and wanted to prevent them from getting too tall before the change, so I switched them right away. They're drinking about 2 liters every two days. This week I've given them nutrients twice; they're taking it in without any problems and it's absorbed quickly. The watering schedule remains steady; it's not slowing down despite the transition. The structure is still shifting quite a bit. The stems are really starting to stretch since switching to 12/12, the new shoots are coming back quickly after the cleaning, and everything is gradually rebalancing. It's dense, but it's maintaining a decent shape and continuing to re-establish itself despite the constant regrowth. For now, everything is progressing normally. Lots of growth, lots of leaves to manage, but nothing out of the ordinary. If it continues at this pace, the first real signs of flowering should be coming soon. Photos below to follow the progress

phobic94 🌱 Week 5 Hey everyone, a quick update for week 5. This week I had to remove quite a few leaves again. The main goal was to open up the structure and allow more light to reach the lower parts. The canopy was starting to close again, so I defoliated the most densely packed areas to maintain good airflow and prevent it from becoming too dense inside. As for nutrients, I'm still using the growth fertilizer. If everything remains stable, I'll gradually introduce the flowering fertilizer towards the end of the week. For watering, I'm keeping the same schedule: about every two days, with two light feedings this week. The substrate dries out properly between waterings, and I don't see any particular signs of deficiency or over-fertilization. The plants have already started to grow a little above the netting. For now, I'm trying to work them and keep them below by repositioning them within the mesh, but it could become difficult if growth continues at the same rate. If they really grow too tall, I'll have to remove the filter and attach the light directly to the metal bar to gain the last few centimeters of available height. At that point, I won't be able to adjust the light's height anymore, but I'll probably need the maximum height until the end. Overall, everything is progressing well. There's quite a bit of structure and height management to manage right now, but nothing alarming. The canopy remains fairly uniform despite the new growth, and the next steps should mainly involve controlling the height and transitioning to a different nutrient solution. Photos just below for those who want to follow the progress. 🌱

phobic94 🌱 Week 6 – Update Hey everyone, a quick update for week 6. This week, I did some light defoliation again, only in areas where the light was blocked. Nothing too drastic, just enough to keep the canopy open and allow light to penetrate properly into the lower areas. Regarding nutrition: The Rainbow Sherbet plants received their first flowering nutrient solution on Monday. They're responding well, and bud formation is already well underway. The Lemon Haze plants are still on their vegetative nutrient solution for now; they haven't really started flowering yet, so I'm letting the transition happen gradually. I also adjusted the tent setup: the light is now suspended at the very top, and the filter is positioned at the front. I'm running out of headroom, so I'm hoping the Lemon Haze plants don't start stretching too much. We'll see how things go this week. Climate-wise, everything remains stable: 24–26°C and 50–60% humidity. I've also added metal bars to limit the negative pressure effect from the extraction, which gives the plants a bit more space and prevents the walls from getting too close together. Currently, they're receiving a DLI of about 33 mol/day, which seems to suit them well. In a week, I'll start slowly increasing the DLI, depending on their reaction and the stability of the climate, to support the flowering process. Overall, everything is progressing well: continued growth, stable structure, and the first buds are forming nicely on the Rainbow Sherbet. If everything remains consistent, I'll introduce the UVB lamp in two weeks. I still need to determine the duration and frequency of use, but it will come at the right time. Photos will follow for those who want to follow the progress.
