Greybeardbud Seeds put into paper towel 20/11 planted into pots 22/11. Pre buffered pots with coco+ a/b and great white when seeds were put in for germination. Seeds planted after 48 hours in paper towel. Lights set to 20% veg 20% uva and sitting 1.8m from top of pot
Currently 25c and 44% rh
Lost 1 seedling 25/11 the other 9 doing well, added great white to pots and fertilised after transplant into 10L cloth pots
29/11 picture 5. All going well, 1 seedling laying down but still facing the lights. Have staked
30/11 picture 6. Watered with half nutrients 4 litres each with 27% runoff. Lights set to 250ppfd.
Have removed 8 inch induction fan as was causing large amounts of positive air pressure replaced with 6 inch passive and 3 inch forced induction with 2 x 6 inch extraction with carbon filters

Greybeardbud Start of veg week 2, impressed with how they are doing and seem to be tracking well. Have raised the fert to 2ml/l for coco+ a/b.
Plants have developed a faint smell. Will be starting lst in 1 week and transplanting into 38 litre cloth pots, still contemplating on just going directly to 50 litre.
Transplanted 1 into 38 litre pot, definitely not ready for transplanting am holding off on the rest
Have added silica to the transplanted plant as an add on
Room photo taken 4 days after individual pictures as a comparison

Greybeardbud All but 1 plants transferred to final 38 litre pots. 2-3 plants slightly slower than the rest but have well defined leaders. have introduced silica into the nutes and have adjusted ph to approximately 5.8. Have 1 plant showing signs of ph imbalance or nute lock tested non adjusted nute water at ph 5, (adjusted up), runoff is testing at ph 6.5 (expected to be higher so not concerned), will need to get a ph/ec pen when funds allow otherwise everything seems to be on track for great growth
Photo 2 showing I suspect signs of magnesium fade, have corrected ph and keeping up with normal feed to runoff, all others showing no signs of deficiencies
Have removed silica from feeds as caused a nutrient lockout on calcium and magnesium, heavy flush with ph 5.6 water and reduced coco a/b with runoff of ph6.0, plants have responded well and swiftly within 24 hours they had started rapid growth again and leaves have darkened. Might reintroduce silica later but not without supplemental calmag.
Will be topping the main colas on the weekend and introducing some lst next week
Never dull

Greybeardbud Back on track everything looks fine. Ph runoff stable at 6.3 feeding twice daily now 1.5L in morning 1L evening. Have reintroduced silica at a reduced 2ml per 25 litre. Attempted some lst with plastic clips and did a lot of damage removing so will not be using them again. Am happy to just top and tuck for now till we are ready for trimming. Heights vary from 20cm to 29cm

Greybeardbud Defoliation happened mid week before a trip away for a few days got home today to see they have just popped. Growing very nicely even the little one that was pegged down to spread it out. Plants ranging from 20cm to 35cm and all looking very happy with themselves. They have also been getting some 90’s grunge music that apparently they dance along to

Greybeardbud Changed to automatic watering 3 litres per 24 hours on drip hose. Everything going really well
Each plant is getting a slow feed at 118ml/min in 30 minute intervals spaced evenly over a 24 hour period
Only 2 weeks till turning, smallest plant is 23cm but in the last week has started growing well, largest is 40cm

Greybeardbud Just flipped to 12-12 with 90cm from canopy to light we shouldn’t have too much issue, plants are mostly around 45-48cm at this stage
Day 1 (12 hrs dark) of 12-12 shows growth of between 1-3cm per plant will remeasure at end of light cycle. 24 hours all plants have stacked on 2-4cm on day 1 of flip
It appears that defoliation is required as these indica dom plants just get thicker and thicker overnight. These were heavily trimmed 6 days ago from the bottom and the top, good problem to have they say. These are a feminised indica 90% sativa 10% I was expecting at this stage to be shorter and tighter. We have 3 in the short compact types the other 6 are considerably larger but all seem extremely happy
Day 2 of flip all the girls had a hairdresser appointment. And 1 met the assassin. 8 girls still going but the very small one got the yank she was not looking well once we started trimming

Greybeardbud Had a few issues this week mostly with ph runoff, was very high at 8.5 (had been on the rise for a little while given that I have been time poor and a lack of energy this was put on the I’ll do it tomorrow list). Picked up some drip clean and reset the coco. Now getting runoff at 6.4 and improving. The girls have been growing this week some more than others but overall I’m pretty happy with the progress shortest being 36cm tallest 67cm with most averaging 53-55cm. Picked up 2 more fans to keep the air moving and will be hopefully doing some restructuring of the tent to help reduce this humidity and potentially relocating 4 of the girls into the 1.5x1.5 tent to give them all some extra room
Other than that just maintaining the light into the plants and trimming where required all be it in stages when time allows
@UnorthadoxDude, thank you.. this is only our second grow, first was an auto and we had so many issues getting everything right this grow we ended up getting advice from our local hydroponics store and haven’t looked back.
