Canna-Lytiker I thought I was going crazy when I discovered the CaMg deficiency in the LCC.... I should have added CalMg earlier, as a preventive measure. In between, there was a CalMG shot of 1ml/l, 1l per plant, from above without GP. The watering amount from above with GP and CalMG is 1L distributed over the 3 plants. Otherwise, I estimate about 300-400ml from the tanks, increasing. It seems to me that the nutrient amounts displayed here are calculated incorrectly - 2ml/l CalMg with 1ml/l GP.
The lights are hanging 110cm from the substrate, just like from the beginning, light output at 50%. Depending on the height of the plants (15-25cm), that corresponds to 600-700ppfd.
The LCC definitely already shows its first female signs. The pH and BPP lag about 2-3 days behind, but definitely female. I'm already looking forward to the stretch😍 Until then...😘

Canna-Lytiker After the initial shock of the CalMg deficiency, the countermeasures have proven effective for all 3 ladies. The pH and BPP show no signs of deficiency. Additionally, 1ml/l of PK13-14 from Bionova was added. CalMg was increased to 3ml/l and incorporated into the feeding from above.
Some side branches have been brought into the "correct" stretching position via LST.
The FlexFeed pulls between 400-600ml daily, depending on the plant. Otherwise, not much has changed. Only the humidity is quite high in some areas (80%) at certain tent measurement points. However, there is active fresh air intake, even though the exhaust could manage that. It's just that the noise level is not something my wife allows... Happy wife, happy life! 😇

Canna-Lytiker This week has been quite eventful... From training accidents to the first snow, it had it all.
The CalMg supplement looked good in the early stages, but since the LCC is in escalation mode, I couldn't react as quickly as I hoped. From last week to today, even more spots have shown CalMg deficiency across the entire plant. The other two are doing much, much better. Otherwise, the good lady is 105cm tall. I hope the biggest stretch is over for her. There's not much room left above. By now, the first snow is noticeable at the top, just a fine layer. A slightly dull scent is coming from her. Reminds me of cookie notes...
The PH seems to be lagging behind the other two by about a week. She's currently stretching at around 25cm. I hope she stretches even more vigorously. For being so small, she has a very wide, relatively even growth (except for a few shoots). She's lush green and will surely be a beauty. The fact that she's a week behind the others works in my favor. When the other two are "done," the PH will be at the height of the Milky Way and have very little amber. Will she be the daytime favorite?
The BPP... I'm so incredibly sorry for causing you 2 training injuries, 2 times bending the shoot! With a bandage around the 2 shoots, she still bravely carried on. She's also strong in green and diligently stretching. As mentioned, the bent shoots are stretching too and forming buds. Furthermore, the BPP has noticeable purple coloring of the calyxes, as well as the top. I'm curious. She's clearly different from the 2 BPPs I had last year. Also in height, currently at 55cm. But what's remained is that sweet, cookie-like scent. You naughty thing! You already smell like one of the 2 ladies from last year. My mouth is watering, and I already know I need BPP RF3 😍
In terms of humidity, despite the fresh air intake, I had to remove the FlexFeed. The roots of the LCC and BPP were already growing down anyway. Bam, I'm now only at 55-60% humidity, down from 70-80%. For that, I'm back to hand watering every 2 days depending on feel and weight. Since I know how full pots feel, I can estimate the watering amounts well. Light output is at 90% - nutrient amounts haven't really increased. The LCC received a 3L supplement. The other two are getting just a bit more PK13/14. Also, slightly increased CalMg amounts.
I'm looking forward to the snow flurry next week and how the PH develops. Until then...😘

Canna-Lytiker Defoliating and Lollipopping
Another week has gone by. The LCC has settled at 110cm and started to swell the buds. The top looks slightly mutated. The sugar is noticeably increasing, as is the smell. This meant it was time for me to defoliate and lollipop, as it was also time-wise due. Since there's very little hanging down below, it was a quick job. Some fan leaves at the top fell victim to the scissors. There’s enough light for the lower levels. However, the overall appearance of the leaves leaves much to be desired… In terms of color, very delicate pink tones can be seen on the buds – will they turn a juicy purple? The cherry-lemon aroma, so refreshing and mouth-watering, is being overtaken by an earthy, cookie-like note… It blows you away. The overall smell is still "weak," but when removing the lower popcorn buds, it became clear that "odorless" days are numbered.
The PH is diligently stretching. I can still do some directing and fill the area well. It shows slight signs that I may have been a bit too generous... but otherwise, everything is juicy. Some shoots have lifted themselves from the overall area and are forming multiple main colas. The PH will be defoliated and lollipopped next week. A good amount will need to be taken off. Right now, it’s about 35cm tall, if you take the highest top. Otherwise, a lot is happening at 25cm height. I’m curious to see how it looks next week. It has also developed a delicate layer of sugar. And when I gently touch it, you can hear the faint "pop of a Sprite bottle." In terms of color, it still doesn’t live up to its name – but whatever!
The BPP has also finished its stretch. It's really building mass on the buds, so it will also be lollipopped and defoliated in the coming days. Some work is needed here as well. The overall appearance is top-notch. The buds are getting a strong purple. The sugar is very clearly visible and increasing. The smell when you touch the popcorn buds is indescribable. Sweet, fruity somehow, like a floral gummy bear. The good one is about 60cm tall.
Only the LCC is getting a bit more, out of the ordinary. Otherwise, everything nutrient-wise remains the same as before. 3ml CalMg/L and 1ml/PK13/14/L – It’s watered every 2 days, fed once a week. I now have the humidity at 45-55% depending on the corner – it fits.
Now there’s some work to do for Christmas – hopefully, I’ll get some fat gifts in the new year! So, until next week and a Merry Christmas!

Canna-Lytiker The video should speak for itself! Otherwise, today the pH was adjusted. There was the most to do here. But in the end, it looks nicely illuminated. The smell has really intensified, and when you open the tent, whew... it's going to be a cocktail!

Canna-Lytiker Happy New Year everyone! Not much has happened since the turn of the year. The ladies are diligently working on their fullness. During the first trichome check, what the ladies have been slowly signaling to me is becoming clear. Autumn is coming, and in about 2 weeks, the trichomes should reach the desired level. For me, there are relatively many amber-colored ones. The LCC will have a bit more than the BPP. The pH should be at its peak. A few clear, the rest milky. No more nutrients will be given now. Let's see how it goes. 🏻

Canna-Lytiker We're approaching the finish line. I don't think there's much more to say 🏻

Canna-Lytiker The Purple Haze yielded the least wet weight. However, the buds are ultra hard and smell juicy like Sprite. I'm excited for the first vape when they're dry enough. 🤡
The harvest is divided into 2x100g and 1x50g in DryFerm Bags.

Canna-Lytiker The Lemon Cherry Cookies produced the most wet weight. The buds are dense and heavy. The foxtailing resulted in quite "round" buds. There will also be little work afterwards. Flower/leaf ratio is totally top. 👌🏻
The cookie notes dominate the lemon and cherry notes. Still fruity and zesty. I'm already looking forward to comparing it to my first LCC. 🤤
The harvest is divided into 5x100g and 1x50g DryFerm Bags.

Canna-Lytiker The Banana Purple Punch is, alongside the Lemon Cherry Cookies, a real feast for the eyes and goes into drying with the 2nd highest moisture weight.
The buds are deep purple and the smell during harvest really fought hard against the LCC. The buds smell sweeter than ever. Gummy bears times 10 😋 I'm also curious to see how this one differs from my first two BPP.
The harvest is divided into 3x100g and 1x50g DryFerm Bags.
Your Purple Clouds grow with the Banana Purple Punch Auto from Fast Buds is looking absolutely stunning in week 9! Those purple and pink colors are breathtaking - the fade is gorgeous! Your living room setup is clearly working well. The buds look dense and frosty. You're almost at the finish line - I believe straight to harvest as you mentioned! Beautiful work!
@wolfvb
A year ago – my first batch of BPP and LCC led me to FastBuds and gave me two of my favorite strains – this time they showed the best colors, terpenes and hopefully also the best weight 😅 compared to the first time - I can't wait any longer!😋
@ShinWeed, thanks for the kind words! The setup is in the living room and is totally oversized... Every now and then someone sleeps there or there's laundry hanging... -,- My wife shows no mercy :D That's why the PK is thick - purring like a kitten. I run the two HortiOne depending on the needs of the ladies. Otherwise, I have Govee Thermo and Hygro, plus 2 paired with the space-saving humidifier with automatic - super satisfied with the products.
In my opinion, the FlexFeed is one of the best watering options I've tried, alongside DWC. This is now the 3rd run with them. Previously, I had problems with root development. Now I can't even get the root ball out of the fabric pot. Depending on the strain, I even have roots in the tank. I gave my fourth pot (it's a four-set) to a buddy. He's also fascinated by how crazy the ladies are rooting now. And what the ladies drink, you can see daily from the tank fill level. It even helps me better estimate how much fertilizer I need.
That would be the crux of the matter. I fertilize concentrated during flowering, or generally from above. Fertilizer in the tank, through the cords, tends to create a smelly tank. The second aspect is the RLF. Since the pots are permanently moist and fertilized from above, you have higher evaporation and thus automatically a higher RLF. This can definitely become annoying during flowering if you have to deal with high temperatures...
I'm actually completely satisfied, as is my buddy 😅 👌
@Gewaltmann, yes, absolutely, you've really helped me with that! Of course, the circumstances are different and it's a different setup, and I definitely have more space above. The lamp is hanging from an adjustable mount, and separately for both. My carbon filter isn't hanging over the lamps, but a bit to the side, so I have 2 meters of space above. I wouldn't have thought about the 40–50%, but it makes sense because you want higher power for the big buds during flowering. You have to gradually increase it without making big jumps. Thanks for now, I'll definitely get back to you with more questions ^^
@Kushycat, With the 40-50%, I assume I'm about 20-30 cm away from maximum height. As I said, I factor in this "growing along" as well. And at 2m, you definitely have plenty of room above. That makes a difference. ^^ You'll definitely see if the ladies are praying or if they're more likely to protect themselves from the light and grow compact, like the PH.
Otherwise, always happy to help! And don't forget, not everything has to be perfect😇
@Gewaltmann, I would say it's kind of a middle ground, but for the first time, I'm quite satisfied so far despite some initial difficulties and all. In any case, I will spread a bit more light tomorrow! Thanks🙏🏼
