LoganatorDude Sown: 12/9/2025 This Diary will portray the life of the landrace plants as I prepare them for next years outdoor crop. I plan to find at least one female of each variety. I’ve already started the Triple Tom Hill earlier by over a month. That one has been treated differently as I am hoping for a male. So I’ve sown only 1. Making 2 of each in grand total. The Pink Flamingo are feminized, so it’s more of a pheno hunt with that one. Day 1 for this grow calendar will be grouped to the first day of the last plant that germinates. After that, I will note the different germination times on this week here. The last one needs to be within one week from the time the first one germinates to start Day 1 for the group. Germination Seed Success: inaccurate until plants actually start to germinate. I am providing custom environmental stimuli to encourage the maximum number of ladies. In favor of early season. Starting with 10 hour days, will move up to 12 hours gradually over the course of 2 weeks post germ. Then I will continue to increase the day hours to 14 over the next 4 weeks. Going to focus on lower average day and night temps along with higher levels of humidity to simulate early spring season. Also going to provide higher levels of nitrogen and lower levels of potassium. Hopefully I can keep the stress levels as low as possible. Direct sow into a small bed of vermiculite within a custom potting mix: 1/3 Baby Bu’s Biodynamic Potting Soil 2/3 Royal Gold Coco Fiber. Amended with 4 TSP/ gallon of Down to Earth’s Bio-Live 1 TSP/ gallon of Langbeinite 1 TSP/ gallon of Texas Green Sand 1 TSP/ gallon of Dolomite Lime AVERAGE DAY TEMP: 76* F AVERAGE NIGHT TEMP: 72* F AVERAGE HUMIDITY: 56% RH Once germination is complete, I will introduce cooler temperatures at night. I will probably expose the seeds to 30 minutes of 50* F before germination is complete.
