HermineGrows Unfortunately, it kept raining consistently in my environment, so the humidity was out of control the whole time. Nights got really cold, and daytime temps weren’t very warm either. The high humidity ended up being a major problem right through to the end…
HermineGrows At this point I knew it wouldn’t work out, but I kept going for science.

HermineGrows I’m getting sadder every day now because the plants look so amazing, but my location and environmental conditions keep getting worse. And I know the grow probably won’t make it into full flower, most likely because of mold or the plants herming from too much stress—mainly due to the humidity, since they can’t really breathe properly through their leaves anymore, and because it’s also getting too cold at times.

HermineGrows These are the last photos before I killed the plants. I started finding tiny seeds on pretty much all of them at the same time, along with clear signs of hermies in the nodes and branch forks, which honestly taught me again how to spot them properly—and it was impressive that they all hermed simultaneously. In a weird way it was a bit relieving, so I chopped everything down and dismantled the setup; the smell while cutting was wild, super sweet and intensely mango. Growth didn’t seem massively stunted overall, but flower formation was heavily suppressed, likely because the plants couldn’t “breathe” properly through their leaves due to the high humidity. It’s a shame to throw all that work away, but it really underlines how crucial the environment around the tent is, since the air inside gets constantly exchanged with the surrounding air.
Given the extreme temperature swings in this environment—very intense and especially very cold at night—and the constantly high humidity, this plant held up exceptionally well. I’m really sad I only had six seeds of it, and that it’s no longer available from Mephisto since it was a limited release. I would have loved to keep cultivating this banger. But I’ve learned a lot again, and I can still look toward the future with open eyes and open arms.
