MaryJaneJo Smooth launch: 24 hours in water, then straight into the AirPot. No drama, no hesitation. Until the next node. Peace.

MaryJaneJo Week 1 passed quickly. Overall growth was normal. Humidity ran slightly low and the substrate stayed a bit too wet. Because the room is shared with a mature plant, I’m keeping humidity lower overall for the greater good. I’m also still dialing in my coco routine. Peace Growers :)

MaryJaneJo Midweek check: The plant looks healthy. I sowed a bit of mayweed alongside for some company. Feeding has stayed on the normal routine. No major actions needed this week, just monitoring and watching her grow.

MaryJaneJo Sour J. is rolling into Week 3 strong. Watering as normal with the regular grow feed. That one burnt leaf is 100% man-made: I accidentally sprayed her with water when I meant to spray mayweed seeds.
Let’s hope Week 3 brings no surprises. Peace, Growers.

MaryJaneJo SJ is doing ok despite the arctic weather __17°C nights isn’t exactly cosy for her. I did a bit of LST. She’s rooted well, but not too thirsty yet. She knows she’s being waited on.
Peace. 👽

MaryJaneJo She gets hungrier by the day, but she is still strong in the vegetative stage. Did a good bit of LST __she is very placid, not bushy at all & surprisingly flexible. I am mostly just tucking leaves in, only removing them if I really have to.
Her companion plant, the mayweed, is getting only a tiny fraction of the light… but is still trying. I think SJ is gonna help her flourish eventually. Time will tell.

MaryJaneJo I was away from her for a week. For the greater good I had to hook her up to the pH 6 watering system. She’s visibly weak __ red stems and all. I gave her a proper feed today, then left her alone. I will take a closer look tomorrow. 👽

MaryJaneJo SJ looks a bit shaggy__no wonder, she has gone full stretch mode to maximise harvest. Some minor leaf discolouration too. I’m gonna feed her well, keep tucking the leaves & just let her grow. She has loads of SPACE now.

MaryJaneJo SJ__ as you probably predicted, the “minor” spots here and there were calcium deficiency. Lesson learned: I need to clean the coco myself in the future.
So I fed her some calmag and she seems healthy. I removed a few leaves, but only the ones that were going yellow.
The top cola (pic. 3) is actually the first branch off the main stem from the bottom__ this SJ is a plant of equal opportunities. I like her a lot. No wonder some humans are jealous.

MaryJaneJo Let me quote the carer’s week report: “SJ’s time is coming. Fear nothing, I know what I am doing.”
I am fearing nothing, then & awaiting the next messages from Earth.

I absolutely adore Sour Jealousy. Growing her is relatively easy, but I am sure that if I treated her a bit more scientifically I would get a much better yield… but brothaas, let us celebrate__116.5 g__
Thanks for stopping by & if you fancy seeing a Sour Jealousy outdoor grow — stay tuned.
No jealousy, just jars __see you next run.

MaryJaneJo SJ is harvested. Since I am still away, the Nephew is in charge. He decided to chop her a while ago & only just sent me these two jar pics the other day.
57.5 g in the tall one and 59 g in the other — 116.5 g in total.
