Hi mate a new plant will need basic nutrients about a week after germination However this all depends on what your soil is made up of? ie any added nutrients or manure? if not then to start with I would use a nutrient mix specifically made for the growing stage which will be slightly higher in nitrogen and then equal parts phospate and potassium as well as the trace minerals calcium and magnesium .
