Gorilla Cookies Auto Fast Buds

AkJano Regular start, pulled the seed husks off the heads because I was worried they would have issues with them. Didn’t cause any problems though.

AkJano Was using a T5 with led bulbs before this and the growth is noticeably better under an LED. Also looks like the soil may have been too rich to start for these plants because I noticed signs of nitrogen toxicity (leaves beginning to claw and burnt tips, as well as just looking sad). I put them in the bathtub and flushed with plain tap water and it helped.

AkJano Very good growth over the week in my opinion, probably in the pre flower stretch now. One plant began to stretch before the others so I did some LST and bent down the main stem to get it to start bushing up. Shortly after I did some LST to all three.

AkJano Realized I had misread the morbloom label and was under feeding so I increased it. Also added some liquid cal mag to avoid any issues once flowering really gets underway. No fish fertilizer because the cal mag has nitrogen in it and it seemed that the 5-1-1 was a little too much last time.

AkJano Everything is going well keeping the climate right, making sure they get enough food and water, and defoliating to allow light to penetrate the lower canopy. They’re beginning to look very promising now. One of them is showing some purple as well which I’m excited for. It didn’t show up on camera very well though.

AkJano Had noticed the leaves turning yellow with brown spots and thought it was cal mag. Found out it was actually a phosphorous deficiency. It took a while for me to figure it out so it looks pretty bad.

AkJano Noticing the same issues on two plants now, yellowing leaves and brown spots. Whereas the on in the middle looks healthier. The two that are having deficiencies came in the same pack and I had germinated them in a cup of water whereas the middle one was a bonus seed and I germinated it in a paper towel. I wonder if that may have made a difference on their health. Update: Finally bought a ph test kit and realized that I was feeding them extremely acidic water and that is probably what my issue is. Going to flush and feed them a ph balanced solution.

AkJano Even with the ph levels being off they’re still on track to produce a decent amount of bud. Definitely learning a lot this run. I’m just flushing them now by watering with plain water. Not much left to do but wait until they look ready.
