LaBerlinesa Hi everyone! Greetings from Berlin 🇩🇪. I've been thinking of doing this for long now, partly because I could use some community knowledge, and partly cause I am a bit overwhelmed and can use some distraction... and well, here we are. First diary, first time scrogging, and first run with this new setup. I’m definitely not a pro, I’m starting my 3th indoor cycle, with 2 medium/good results and 1 pretty embarrassing one so far 😅 ⚙️ Setup This run I am upgrading most of my features, so big times ahead! - I used to grow with only the Boystro 200W Led, but I still felt like it could use some upgrade, so I added 100W more. - I only had a hygrometer and an exhaust fan with no dimming/controller, I added a humidity-based controller, hoping to have more control on that. - Added a clip fan to promote strong stems. - And the one I am more excited about, first time using the SCROG method and LST clips. - I will start paying way more attention to what I will be feeding, I already got a PH meter and EC meter, both arriving soon. - I also got a magnifier to know exactly when to start with the scissors. - And last but definitely not least, I will have a better feeding kit, CalMag, Silica, PH UP/Down and Biobizz Bloom, Grow and Top Max. 🎯 Expectations: My last crops were not the best, I pulled around 100 g using the Boystro 200W. Roughly 0,5g/W, using autos, with no ph tracking, no PPM tracking, and with no scrog. II do have some experience with HST (topping and lollipopping), but that’s about it. This time I’m running around 300W, tracking what goes in, and using training properly, so expectations are a bit higher. Target is 0.6 g/W, so roughly 180 g. Maybe more, but as you’ll see, this won’t be the most efficient SCROG ever 🌸Strains: Lady #1: Pink Runtz Automatic Lady #2: Purple Queen Automatic Lady #3: Special Kush #1 🗺️Plan: This is the paragraph you’ll probably read again in a couple of months (or weeks) and laugh at how different everything turned out. Both autos will be germinated and go directly to the final 11L pot, while the Special Kush will start its run in a 0,5L cup, then move to 3L, and finally to 11L. My plan is either: - To use a SCROG with all three plants, or - To let the autos grow using only LST and fill the SCROG only with the topped special kush, once the autos are harvested and drying that is TBD. Week 1: Without further ado, I germinated with the old paper towel trick, never had issues with this part so just waiting for them to pop. I will drop you all some pictures of old runs and my current setup. Let me know if you wanna know something else! See you all next update and as we say in Argentina, buenos humos!

LaBerlinesa Hi everyone! Following up on my first post. It’s been a rough first two weeks for two out of the three plants, along with some changes to the setup. ⚙️ Setup I added a cheap humidifier, as RH was averaging around 40%. I’ll try a few tweaks to automate it and keep humidity more consistent. II’m also looking to automate watering. I already have an Arduino and a soil moisture sensor, so if anyone has any tips on this, they’re more than welcome. Big shout-out to my girlfriend for the tag artwork, clearly carrying this grow on her artistic shoulders. Feel free to reserve personalized ones! 😄 Purple Queen Automatic: A great start! Nice growth and, in a couple of days, she’ll probably be ready for her first LST session. I’ve been giving her around 250–500 ml of water each time the medium is dry enough, which has shifted from every day to every two days now. I’ll keep feeding her plain water for one more week, as my ppm are a bit high (around 500 ppm). PPFD: 190 Pink Runtz Automatic: Sadly, she developed a cotyledon malformation and only has one. I’ve seen that it’s not that weird, but it definitely affected her growth, as she’s far behind her auto tent partner. I’ll see how she progresses. Still feeding plain water when dry enough, around 250 ml each time. PPFD: 190 Special Kush #1: Growth has also stalled here. I may or may not have dropped the pot after putting the seed in... the seed didn’t actually fall from the cup, but it might have ended up too close to the surface. I woke up today to find an exposed root. I tried covering it with soil, but I’m not sure it will help. I’ll keep you all posted on how it goes. It doesn’t concern me too much since this one is the photoperiod plant. I may start germinating another one just in case. PPFD: 180 See you all next update and buenos humos!

LaBerlinesa Hey everyone! Glad to be posting another update. Not such great news this time, I ended up chopping both the malformed seedling and the Special Kush #1, which I may have drowned. So I’m popping two new Special Kush #1 seeds (or should I call them #2 and #3? 😅) and one unknown seed from a bud. ⚙️ Setup The cheap humidifier I bought a few weeks ago may not be the best, but it has definitely improved the environment in my tent. It has three levels: I found level 1 with the extractor running 24/7 wasn’t enough, while level 2 was too powerful and would push humidity up to 80% too quickly. I stuck with level 1 and set up a humidity controller on my exhaust, which now keeps RH between 60–65%. I’ll lower it to around 50% in late veg and 45% in late flower. 🌱 Purple Queen Auto This one is looking really good. At the end of week two, I did the first LST session (First picture) and watered with 1 L of plain water. During week three, I mostly focused on leaf tucking, and at the end of the week I did a second LST session (the second picture was taken yesterday right after the LST. I’ll take another one today to show how she’s recovering). I’ll keep tucking leaves over the next week, and once the medium dries out, I’ll water again and do another LST session. I started using gardening wire and later switched to LST clips. I’m pretty happy with the results so far, the canopy looks nice and even, and light is hitting it uniformly. I also raised the PPFD a bit, gradually increasing it from 190 to 400, and I’ll probably raise it further until reaching 600 when it starts flowering, which shouldn’t be far off now since it’s a fairly fast strain. See you all next update and buenos humos!
