PapaTerps Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees I've been looking forward to this one for a while, so here we go! To kick off 2026, I've selected five "premium brand" strains to grow over the next few months. This is the first of five, and I've selected this beauty for her fruity and earthy flavours and her energizing and creative affects. Day 1 - Seed dropped into a plain glass of RO tap water, pH'd to 6.3. I'm using the floating method here, so the seed will stay in the glass until a taproot appears, or if the seed drops to the bottom of the glass, in which case, she will be moved into a paper towel; to ensure she gets enough oxygen. The glass will be kept in a cool, dark area for a few days until an acceptable tap root appears, then she will be moved into the growing medium and placed in a humidity dome and left to grow until she is ready for veg. Day 3 - an acceptable taproot has appeared from the seed, so she has been transferred to a starter pot until she is big enough to enter the grow environment. Day 5 - she has just sprouted and her shell is still attached. I will leave her for another day to grow and if her shell is still attached, I will manually remove it. So far so good 🙏🏻 Day 6 - The seedling has sprouted - I manually removed her shell and part of the membrane, as it was preventing the seedling from getting light. Day 9 - she is big enough to transplant her from her starter pot to her main grow pot. So today, I broke her out of her starter pot and planted her into a 20L fabric grow pot - she will remain in this pot for the rest of her lifecycle 🙏🏻

PapaTerps Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 13 - She has started to develop her central node and is working on her third set of leaves. Because of this, I consider her in veg!!. I've watered her with 250ml of RO tap water with nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. I'll let her grow for the next week or so, at this stage, there isn't much work to be done aside from watering her 👌🏻

PapaTerps Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 22 - Today I've watered her with 500ml of RO tap water with nutrients, pH'd to 6.3. She is still in early veg, but is progressing nicely. Not much work performed on her just yet, but from next week, I will begin training her, but for now, I will just let her grow 💪🏻

PapaTerps Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 27 - I've watered her with 1L of RO tap water with nutrients (in descending order), pH'd to 6.3. She is big enough to start some LST on her, so I removed her top most fan leaves and used four tent pins to train her four lowest stems down and away from her main stem - this is to encourage the lower stems to grow out towards the edges of the pot, so when she starts to stretch, it should naturally allow more light penetration at the lower bud sites. I've used this method multiple times with great success, see my Runtz Auto diary for an example 👍🏻

PapaTerps Wizard Fuel - Wizard Trees Day 34 - I've watered her with 1.5L of RO tap water with nutrients, mixed in order and pH'd to 6.3. This is her last week of veg, which has gone really well and now it's time to prepare her for bloom! I wanted a nice even canopy to work with, so I've decided to top her main stem, to force her to grow more uniform. I've also removed all of her inward facing fan leaves and her lowest most nodes, as they just won't progress when she starts to stretch - kinda like the main-lining technique, but I don't remove the main stem 👍🏻
