14/14 CRITICAL FEM "GB STRAINS"

Chrisandweed First week after germination. I moistened the substrate on the day and I haven't moistened it again, it’s still damp. What I do is hydrate them via foliar with high humidity. Edit 01/27/2026: transferred to 1L pots all of them. I mixed the Light Mix substrate with diatomaceous earth to avoid early pests and unnecessary stress. Honestly, I feel that if I have a plant under stress, watering with diatomaceous earth (from the Diatical brand) helps it recover. Also, when I did the transplant, I moistened the soil and added 100ml of water with Roots to get the root system working with enthusiasm!

Chrisandweed The watering is with roots for the root system, growth boom, which has a drying effect with the root, and by the second week, we can start feeding them, silic boom to begin reinforcing the cell walls. All of the above for watering, then foliar I start applying calmag as well, to strengthen it and thus prevent diseases, pests, or mold. About this plant, it's growing great! This one and the Oreoz are the top ones from this batch!

Chrisandweed Well, by the end of this week or the beginning of next, I'll be doing the first apical cut and we'll start preparing the main lining.

Chrisandweed Apical pruning done and shoots and leaves that aren't doing anything, out, let's grow 4 strong shoots, from which we'll get 8 and so on. The structure this plant is developing is great, it looks very healthy.

Chrisandweed Well, here's the deal, growing great. One of these days I'll do a foliar spray with sulfur to prevent issues, and the following week I'll use potassium soap and neem oil. I estimate they'll stay in the vegetative stage for a couple more weeks in these pots, and then I'll transplant to (I can't remember for sure if it's 11L or 13L) and then in a week or two they'll start flowering. I still have at least 2 more rounds of apical cuts to do, we're at 4 tops, my goal is 32 per plant. With those apical cuts, I'll take clones.

Chrisandweed Well, second apical pruning aiming for that main lining. I've taken cuttings from each cut, generally between 3 and 4 per plant, rooting 2 in substrate in the seedling tray, and another 2 in a glass of water. So it's 2 and 2 per plant, except for a few that had to be 3 because some branches didn't develop well, or the small hash plant, which due to unfavorable conditions from the start still doesn't have enough material to take cuttings. About this plant, very sturdy, stems very, very thick and leaves very large and thick... it feels really good.

Chrisandweed Wednesday 11/03/2026 week and we're going into the seventh week. Today I trimmed the tips again, doing the apical cut, going from 8 shoots to 16 🔥🔥💪🏾. Most likely next week I'll transplant them into pots, I can't remember if they were 11L or 13L, I'll see when I make the change xD. I'm doing 1 foliar application at the beginning of the week with neem oil and potassium soap as a preventive measure to see if we can get through flowering without pests or mold. The photos are of the before and after after today's apical cut.

Chrisandweed Eighth week counting from germination. They are doing very well, I'm going to let the last shoots of the apical ones I did develop, and we'll see how that goes, because I'm still really unsure about how to do it, whether to fill the 1.5x1.5 with flowers like crazy with hundreds of tips, but at the cost of taking longer and having a harvest from now until summer, or to rush it, put it into flowering at the latest by the end of this month or the beginning of the next, while I prepare the next harvest with the cuttings and seeds in the greenhouse, and as soon as I cut, I’ll put the new ones into the big one, 2 weeks and into flowering too. The problem here is that I’ll probably be busy by July, but I would have harvested 2 times... I don’t know, it depends on these weeks, if the cuttings root well this time (I’ve already figured out what I was doing wrong, now all the new ones I do will go amazing), and on the other hand, that the last shoots of these plants develop more. Overall, they are all doing veeeery well and despite some occasional stress, they are developing quite nicely.

Chrisandweed 26/03/2026: the photos are the before and after after defoliation and possibly the last apical cut of main lining. They are doing very well and the lower branches (I messed up in the previous cut by cutting the first node but oh well) are already getting close to the height of the upper ones, and with that, we are getting closer to transplanting and the next flowering phase. The plants are very healthy, several cuttings have rooted and I have them in 1L pots (they will be in the diaries of the next grow) and with today's apicals, I've taken more cuttings.

Chrisandweed Well, SCROG net is set up, the first one, I'll put a second one later to support weight, this one I’m putting to open up the plants. Wonderful growth, they are incredible. I transplanted from the 7L pot to a 20L one and soon I'll put them into flowering.

Chrisandweed Getting closer to the goal, they are flying like crazy! Hahahahaha they are growing really well, expanding really well, and the nutrients are under control. There was a slight over-fertilization when I transplanted, but I already fixed it. The most affected plant out of the 4 was the normal "Critical," but I gave it 10L of water with flush to wash out all the salts and stuff. I did the same for the other 3 but with 5L. Now that they are almost dry, it took them 3 days to dry out, plus today the whole day 4, they look amazing, all with their strong leaves pointing up, the Critical is the one that still needs a little bit, but with the next watering, I think it will recover. Then, I’m going to see if I can plant an auto soon and put it indoors for about 2 or 3 weeks and then take it outside... I’ll see, honestly, because I have certain difficult problems to control outside, among others, neighbors who don’t understand what the word privacy means 😅. Ohh, I almost forgot!! I see some spotted leaves, that’s because I gave them a nice foliar cleaning yesterday, front and back, to all the plants with one of those typical potassium soap + neem oil products, combined, like a 2-in-1. Among the things I've been learning with the grows, it’s very important to make these applications, and not just as a preventive measure, but just plain water helps a lot, especially spraying it as hard as possible ON THE STEMS, on all the stems/branches of the plants. It’s true that bugs usually go to the leaves to eat, buuuuut in my experience, they make their base on the stems and branches, yes, in the part closest to the leaves, buuuut on the branches! So at least once a week, I try to give it a good spray as if it were a Karcher, and yes, the cabinet is new and I try to be careful, but so far everything is good regarding pests.

Chrisandweed They are wonderful, I can't stop saying it. I'm forcing the tips to stay below the net for now to keep expanding the plants a bit more. I used the Delta Boom product for foliar feeding on Sunday the 12th, so on the 22nd I'm changing the light cycle to 14/14!! The plants are eating a ton, I'm giving them about 3 liters every 3 days or so.

Chrisandweed Well, TODAY, Wednesday, April 22, I'm changing the photoperiod to 14-14! So far, everything is going according to plan, main lining up to this point, vigorous and robust, they feel very healthy and drink a lot, currently 3 liters per plant every two days, we'll see how it goes now with the flowering. This first week I'm going to do different applications looking for things hahahaha today I'm going to do a foliar application of delta and I don't remember if I was also supposed to do it with watering. Then, something I'm eager to see is using calcium now between this week and next for foliar application, but this time not just to strengthen the plant, but to activate the Ca²+ hormone, I think it's called, which is basically the plant's messenger that tells it, eeehh, produce more resin because you're not producing enough! And that way the strength.. we'll have to see hahahaha but well, today the 14 hours of light and 14 hours of darkness start 🔥🔥 The plants have their canopy at about 40cm, I hope I don't have to do super cropping, I'm not a fan.

Chrisandweed Agüita! Hahahahaha they are going strong! Hahaha maybe the most exuberant flowering I've had so far 🔥🔥🔥🔥 AND THIS IS NOTHING!!!! FOR THE NEXT GROW I’M GOING TO DO KOREAN NATURAL FARMING "KNF", which means making my own fertilizer myself, plus, everything organic and that's going to be crazy. Well, regarding the plants, as I said, they are incredible hahahaha they are growing hard, stretching a lot, with about 10cm between last Wednesday and this one in just the first week 😅. Applying the silica is also noticeable in their stems which are very sturdy, they don't feel flimsy, they are flexible but not soft, so they will hold the weight of the buds very well, and when it comes time for fattening, I’ll consider putting a second scrog net.

Chrisandweed I forgot to update the diary on Wednesday 😅, the photos are from Wednesday, May 6th, even though I'm updating it today, Saturday the 9th. They are doing really well, growing very strong and all, little by little.

Chrisandweed Well, here we go, one week more, one week less. This week, in principle, the stretching should finish by this weekend and the beginning of next week. I've already started with the sugars, I've finished with the delta, and I've also started with the soil watering, not foliar, with the resin. This set will probably last this week and the next. This weekend, I'll likely do the defoliation of "day 21," which is a bit delayed since I'm on 14/14. Then, I water every 2 or 3 days with 4L per plant and the nutrients; just in case I haven't mentioned it, I alternate watering with and without nutrients. The "without" doesn't mean no fertilizer at all; I either add calmag or a little bit of silica using diatomaceous earth. I basically do a light watering between fertilized waterings. Resin is starting to come out, almost imperceptible for now... But it's coming xD. P.S.: The photos from last week got mixed up with the "Kritical GB," meaning I uploaded the photos from that other diary here, and in that other diary, I uploaded the photos from this one in the previous week. That's already sorted out 💪🏽.

Chrisandweed Well, the nice photos are starting to come in hahahaha I gave them the cut this past Sunday to get them ready for fattening. Let's see how it goes. This one in particular, despite being a Critical, has a veeeery sativa structure, I don't know 🤣.

Chrisandweed Well, you can already tell they are starting to fatten up and produce resin, little by little it smells more hahahaha. I'm dying for the day of sacrifice to arrive ✂️✂️😂🔥. Let's see... I know it's hybrid, but with indica predominance around 60%.... Is this structure sativa all the way, right?????? Long stems, separated internodes, thin leaves.... And with the LED at the same height as its sisters, which are bushier and feel more hybrid leaning towards indica, but this one? I don't know, it turned out like this hahahaha I still really like the structure, it's beautiful, although the fact that it's theoretically the fastest of the 4 doesn't quite add up for me hahahaha we'll see when the cuts come.

Chrisandweed Well, the sativa, the rare one among the sisters. Apparently, nitrogen has been released, or in some base fert combo, a high amount of nitrogen must have accumulated, and you can already see in some photos that there are unnecessary new leaves indicating not only this nitrogen release but also nutrient lockouts... Anyway, mama, what does the buddy want? xD In the next watering, I'm going to use the flush at half dose, then a light base fertilizer, and then an enzyme, and after that back to normal, depending on how it behaves. It's funny that they always get stuck at these stages xD and if you add the damn heat that's going on, 35 degrees outside and a room (the one with the plants) that without having a door seems to have an invisible one that doesn't let the A/C air from the house in... Well, nothing, pachencha, and get ready, because these last few years I've been getting the hang of it. PS: IMPORTANT, I'm going to put data that I usually didn't include due to the "difficulty" in many quotes since it's difficulty due to a specific situation, to take out and as I mentioned before, there were lockouts and such... Well, I measured the drainage water of each plant. In this one, the pH values are more or less okay, but the EC was pure bleach! In this plant, the pH was 6.4 and the EC was 9.1 MILISIMENS! not microsimens... A very high toxicity! Very similar to the other 4. Basically, my waterings were generally 2 a week, one with base fertilizers specific to each phase, and the second watering was with enzymes usually with calmag (very salty fertilizer) and on top of that, the waterings were just right, usually there was no drainage, so the salts in the substrate were accumulating up to these points. Today, after several days of letting the pots dry, even looking for a bit of water stress, I did a watering of 6L per pot of water with the Flush product to drag and clean the salts, this time the 6L was the perfect amount to drain enough water to lower these EC levels, and also in the plate, I could measure them and get the result I mentioned earlier. It all started because in the Kritical GB I felt a PK lockout and the plant started eating its leaves to get magnesium; if I had seen it as a magnesium or calcium deficiency, I would have messed up terribly!

Chrisandweed Well, I already mentioned that the plants suffered a massive salt buildup. After the flush wash last Sunday, today, Wednesday, June 10, it was time for the next watering. In this one, I only used the Enzym Boom product to break down all the dead and really messed up roots and release sugars, and the Resin Boom to give it amino acids and the goodies it has, since this one doesn't raise the EC much at all. The plants generally feel good, except for the Bilbo, which, well 😅, is my curse with the Critical Bilbo. For whatever reason, I always mess it up with them xD, either in the seed, or in the vegetative stage, or in flowering. Still, I have to be thankful that it hasn't been a huge problem like in other times and that maybe a third of the plant has suffered the most, and luckily the rest is fine. The main buds, or at least the tallest ones, are really fat and smell great, and they still have some swelling to do. In the profile picture, you can see the sativa structure I've been talking about so much.

Chrisandweed Well, let's think that it has indeed come out with a very high sativa dominance, and that's why it's taking so long to start fattening up the buds. If that's the case, when it does start to fatten up, it's going to produce some really interesting buds, but for now, here we go 😅. Now, this might be the one with the least resin of the 4 in the grow, but without a doubt, it's the stickiest! I can't even touch it, hahahaha. If I touch it just a little to smell it, I know I'll have to wash my fingers with alcohol because otherwise, I'll spend the whole day with super glue on my fingers, hahahaha. I'm hoping for a good result, staying optimistic 😅😂 because if all this is a pause due to the excess salts that the grow in general suffered... That does make me a little more worried about how it will end up, but well, the pistils are still white, long, and growing, so I understand that this is a sign that it still has a good way to go, and if it really has come out that sativa, it will be a great plant for the harvest time.

Chrisandweed For now, they're getting bigger and confirming my suspicions, but I won't know for sure until I chop them down, haha. But like I said, it looks like it's going to be a long flowering period, but I hope for some good buds xD

Chrisandweed This plant, although I messed it up quite a bit due to over-fertilization, is a unicorn, really. The "critical," a hybrid plant with indica predominance, can someone tell me where the indica predominance is here? It started flowering at the same time as the other 3, and this one seems to be about 3 to 4 weeks behind the others, its structure is definitely stretched with long internodal distance and thin leaves (the shape is due to the excess salts). I have its clone very well taken care of, and at the end of September when the heat ends at least here in Spain, I'll start the new grow with clones of this among others, but of course, it will be a supersoil grow, my first supersoil grow. I hope to do it well, the main difference with this one will be that, the fertilization since I want to make it as even as possible but without going back to mineral, I’ll also do it at 14/14. I insist, I'm super eager to cut this plant and finally see what I end up with.

Chrisandweed You can see the fattening happening. On the other hand, the accumulation of salts that I had and measured with the drainage has gone down from 6000 microsiemens to 2000. Next week, it will be able to recover nutrients taking advantage of the long period it still has before harvest.

Chrisandweed Well, I wouldn't know yet what time it has left before the harvest, but it definitely still has some time. Now, I think that based on how it looks since you can already see the buds and they don't have the shape of a nug, hahahaha, I think I'll mainly use this one to extract the resin and make hash with the Pollinator. I'll see.

Chrisandweed Well, this is what a revegetated plant looks like. A lot of conditions came together for the hormonal balance of flowering/vegetative to favor the vegetative state. First, the heat with over 30°C, then we add the 14 hours of light (even though it had 14 hours of darkness), and finally, as a cherry on top, the nutrient lockouts that caused it to pull from nitrogen reserves, which all together made the vegetative hormonal state prevail over the flowering one, and that's why no actual buds formed. When I remove the leaves while drying it, I'll see the structure it has, but it looks like it’s going to be a super lanky structure. I’ll mainly use this plant to collect pollen from all the leaves and attempts at buds, and once it’s dry, I’ll use the Pollinator to make hash with it, and also, I’ll save all the non-leaf parts to make edibles, so after collecting the pollen, those edibles I make won’t be as killer as some I’ve made, and my friends who aren’t used to eating them will be able to take them without crashing at my place 😅😅😅. When I start the grow from its cuttings, that will definitely be 12/12. For now, until new things come out or more research on 14/14, I’m going to stick with 12/12, which I have to admit something about my growing experience xD I started on the rooftop hahaha the first photoperiod plants I grew and was able to harvest, I started at 14/14, I still haven’t had the chance to do a satisfactory 12/12 grow 😅😅.

Chrisandweed Since it revegetated and did weird things, and I don't have it to harvest buds as such, but rather to make hash and edibles, I will cut it down along with the Bilbo, probably next week or maybe the week after at the latest. I have to say that even though it has small trichomes (or rather, they ended up like this xD), it has a ton in the calyxes and they are very clear white in color.

Chrisandweed Today I'm putting it in the dark for 48 hours before cutting it down and hanging it up.
