Zeven__Fyve Thursday January 22 2026 - seeds were placed directly in coco coir, with a thin layer of organic soil at the bottom of each cup. A Heat mat was placed underneath and set to 80F, along with humidity domes on top.
I have room for one more plant in the tent so I'm popping these to get a female to fill that spot for flower, so only one female will be kept. If the blueberry bastard matures quick enough then I may have room for 2 females, should there actually be 2 females here.
I've already tested a couple of these F1 seeds last month, which ended up being male so they were culled. I've also completed a sizable hunt to make F2 seeds. From what I've seen these F1's are often very photogenic with leaves that have a rich green color and good serration. A somewhat amusing discovery is that most of the F1 females are quite tall with the father's physical branching structure, while most of the males are short and bushy with tighter spacing like the mother had. That's not at all typical, or even common to my knowledge.

Monday January 26, 2026 - Germination of 4 regular seeds was successful.
Tuesday January 27, 2026 - Correction: 5 seeds. I thought I had lost one while placing them in soil, but turned out it ended up in the soil and popped up sometime last night beside #6. It's been placed in its own seedling cup and designated as #7, and the batch has been grouped into a separate humidity enclosure to protect them from the dry air of the rest of the tent, as well as to help shield them from some of the intense flowering light above.
