Looks like she had a little too much coffee, the tips of the leaves have a slight burn from too much nitrogen. I've transplanted to a small solo cup, and watered a little extra to help the roots out. The solo cup had a mixture of peat moss, topsoil, and Fox Farms Happy Frog potting soil. I additionally fixed up my two inline fans and filter, the intake fan is pumping air in right at the stem to hopefully give it a little strength. She seems to be growing strong. Not much else to report. I am hoping to have enough growth within the next couple weeks to start some low stress training. Topping for the first time after that.

The cotyledons are enclosed in a little sac. It usually sheds with the shell but sometimes it sticks to the leaves like yours. If you moisten it then it will get soft, but it won't hurt anything. Good luck on your grow!

Feels like I’ve got all kinds of nutrient deficiency. Which makes me think I’ve got a lockout issue. Do I need to do a second flush with pH adjusted water? How do I help my poor little plant?

Get a bag of all mix / complete mix, any kind of prefertilized soil and transplant that plant into it. Use at the very least a 1 galon (4 liters) pot, 2 or 3 gallons (7 to 11 liters) would be better. Also, as long as the ph is between 6.0 and 7.0 it is ok, you probably over flushed, leaching all nutrients from the soil in the cup. Another thing, get an EC/PPM meter, i will help when it's time to feed.

I run the roleadro (previously galaxyhydro)1000w. They are right at $100 on Amazon and it runs really cool. I tried the dimmable model for a second light but the regular one seems brighter so I returned it for the regular one

@Sandman, this was my first grow using it and I didn't train like I normally would since it was my first auto grow. Seems to work just as good as a hid in my opinion though

@Wicked_Stix, I’ll have to check it out! It sounds like exactly what I’m looking for assuming. What are typical yields per plant under a 1000W LED?

Hi @Sandman! Your plant was in a situation of rootbound, roots were unable to find space/air and as a result they started to rotten, I see on your latest pictures brownish roots whereas they should be white. To be honest in this situation I would start over from seed with a fresh soil, in a airy container such as AirPot/SmartPot. These containers help you to analyse the rootmass easily, they make overwatering almost impossible, and they allow roots to auto-prune themselves, preventing from rootbound. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

@Stick, I think I’m gonna see this one through even if it’s not an optimal outcome. But next time I’ll definitely be getting an AirPot next grow! Thanks for letting me know what to look out for next time as well, I thought the roots, although crammed, looked good - didn’t realize there was anything wrong D: Talk about a learning experience eh? Haha

That plant looks like it needs a good feed to me.

@Waters, done as of the time of writing. I was previously worried that ph lockout was the cause of the signs of malnourishment. But either way she should have plenty of nutes now. I plan on feeding again in a week if the new leaves still aren’t looking right.

@@Athos, took your advice as soon as I saw it man, transplanted into fresh new soil at the end of this week (5). I’ll have to look into the EC/PPM meters, I didn’t think they were as big a deal and have been trying not to spend tons of cash on this already expensive first attempt x)

You need to transplant her. Her rootzone is full and and and soil is empty of nutrinets. Just transplant her and she'll recover then just go from there. Good thing with nutrients is to remember when starting to feed that start only with 1/3 of recommended dose. That way you don't overfeed your plant. Much easier to take care of underfed than overfed plants. Happy growing!

I’m on week 7 of my chocolate haze grow n it’s not stretching at all. It seems more of a short bushy plant. Plenty of foliage. It’s approximately 5 inches in height is this normal or am I doing something wrong
