This is my first photo period grow that I started and decided to try an expirament because this seed was ordered accidentally, I just wasn't paying attention and thought it was an auto. I have a secret garden that I have started outside and have gone out in March to see areas where the snow first melts. It is kinda an amazing spot that is close home with seclusion and optimal location for sun. I am totally out of room in my tent with my 3 other plants, time for an early transplant...
Alright so this is a couple days after I transplanted this girl. Seems to be responding well to outdoor temps even though the first night was a cold and windy one. She has stretched upwards and looks like she is much happier here than crammed in a small grow tent w 3 other plants. Anyways I dropped her on the journey over but she survived, thank fuck. Well till next time!
It's has been a little cold and growth isn't as fast as I was hoping but a pretty insane stretch. The wind or bugs have damaged the leaves, any suggestions or confirmation of what's causing it. Anyways I hope it warms up a bit moving into June.
She survived the cold front and the warm sunny days are upon us. Can't believe how she has poured so much energy into growing tall instead of leafy. The compost is from defoliated leaves from my other plants. Really think she is doing quite well despite slow growth during cold stint.
Really happy to see the response to the warm weekend. Huge stretch and nice healthy veg development. Really need the sunny days to continue but she is looking good. You can see how she tilts toward the sun. Thanks for checking out this wild grow. I have put almost no effort into this plant and it has been great to see the early success.
This girl is just shy of hitting 3ft tall. She has developed 2 sets of new leaves on top and you can see that she is developing more vegatative growth. Needs to get more bushy but the stem is so thick and strong. This week is going to be sunny and she is probably going to have some explosive growth. I am just guessing but she grew alot last week with all rainy days below 20. Thanks for checking out this edition of the wild outdoor grow!
Well we just had the longest day of the year so I think that should start flowering. Maybe it'll take a bit though, I'm not really sure. What I do know is that this girl is loving the warm weather! She is past my belly button and definitely over 3 ft tall with massive leaves. Very happy girl, I wonder how tall she will get. Might go water her today because it's super hot today! Thanks for checking out this grow!
Well this girl is doing pretty good from what I can tell. She is about 4 ft and starting to see where flowers will develop. No sign of pistols though but she needs more veg growth anyways. I used a stick to help support stem. She was getting smacked around by the wind pretty bad and was slouching too. Seems to have helped and I can't wait to see how tall she will get! Fan leaves are huge. Thanks for checking out the grow!
Sorry about not posting in a while but harvesting my other plant took the focus. She has got extremely tall, about 7ft and I think I should have topped her but it is a little late now. Lots of great veg growth but she has experienced some heat stress and under watering. Should be hitting flower come August, can't wait! Removed some dead leaves from lower canopy and water her yesterday.
Yeah so sorry about the lacking updates but I moved and can only check up on my plant again for harvest. Hoping nature will do its things, I topped her and added some organic nutrients to the soil.
Yeah this strain finished in 9 weeks just like the guidelines say, tons of golf ball sized nugs. I could have got a better yield if I topped her earlier but I'm really happy with this grow. $20 investment and a quarter pound of weed in return. Outdoor plants really require very little to no maintenance, so if constantly pruning and training isn't something your interested in then go outdoors mate. In terms of how I grew this girl I just used a bit of cal-mag and amended the soil with organic nutrients before flowering. The organic notes saved my ass for flower. The yield may not be as much as many outdoor plant but again my first outdoor grow. I'm happy with the quality over quantity too. Thanks for all for stopping by!
