Gorilla Glue & Strawberry Banana

CaduCCCP Record of March 3, 2026. The Gorilla Glue is the pot in the front, and the two Strawberry Bananas are in the back. I noticed that the Gorilla Glue came with a slight deformation that slightly delayed its performance at the beginning of growth.

CaduCCCP March 8, 2026 entry. It's noticeable that the Gorilla Glue isn't developing as much as the Strawberry Bananas yet. But they're all doing well.

CaduCCCP Record of March 17, 2026. Since my grow has a height limit of 1 meter, I need to focus on LST with ties to limit growth as much as possible during this initial vegetation phase. At this stage, I do LST using paper clips.

CaduCCCP Records from March 27, 2026. The plants are one month old, and I’m starting to apply defoliation to maximize light distribution. Here, the Gorilla Glue clearly made up for the delay at the start of vegetation.

CaduCCCP March 30, 2026 entry. The appearance of the first pistils on the three plants marks the beginning of flowering. The stretching is already evident, and I have to focus on LST and ties to contain the height growth of the plants. As they are entering flowering, I will start adding MKP fertilizer (0.25g/L) to the solution and gradually decrease the Calcium Nitrate (0.60g/L).

CaduCCCP Records from April 10, 2026. The trichomes and top buds are starting to form. I notice that the temperature is very high, exceeding 30°C, but there's not much I can do about it. Despite that, they show no signs of stress.

CaduCCCP Records from April 17, 2026. Wrapping up the 3rd week of flowering, the Gorilla Glue is showing yellowing of the lower leaves, but it's developing well. The Strawberry Banana on the left is bulking up more slowly than the others, probably due to genetic reasons. I'm optimistic about this harvest. There are no signs of pests. This time of year, a lot of ladybugs show up. I release all that I can catch into my grow for pest prevention.

CaduCCCP Records from April 24, 2026. Flowering is going well. The Gorilla Glue showed slight signs of stress, I believe due to nitrogen deficiency or unregulated pH. I think I have resolved the problem in time. The stretching has finally come to an end; I was running out of vertical space. Bulking has begun. Time to fatten up those buds 🌳

CaduCCCP Registros do dia 5 de maio de 2026. Pulando da 8ª para a 10ª semana porque eu viajei na semana passada e deixei as plantas aos cuidados de amigos. Notei que a Gorilla Glue apresenta sinais nas folhas que aparenta ser um lockout de nutrientes, o que geralmente ocorre por desregulação do PH, o que me causa estranhamento, pois as duas Strawberry Banana estão recebendo exatamente a mesma fertilização e rega e não apresentam esses sinais. De qualquer forma, os Buds estão engordando bem e as plantas estão bem tricomadas. Fé y marcha!

CaduCCCP Records from May 14, 2026. Moving forward in the flowering stage, the top bud of the Gorilla Glue is starting to show a purple color, which I loved! Unfortunately, since it lost leaves very early, it didn't bulk up as much as the top buds of the Strawberry Banana. The Strawberry Banana on the right is VERY frosty, sugary in every millimeter. Meanwhile, the Strawberry Banana has chunkier top buds. Let's go!

CaduCCCP Records from May 22, 2026. Walking towards the finish line. Some trichomes are already showing amber color. I'm thinking about harvesting the Gorilla Glue and the Strawberry Banana on the right. Both of them hardly have any leaves left to draw energy from. On the other hand, the Strawberry Banana on the left, which started flowering later, is showing considerably larger top buds. Since it still has a lot of green, I believe its cultivation will drag on a bit longer.

CaduCCCP Records from May 28, 2026. I topped both Strawberry Bananas to give them more balance and better distribute the light. In the records, I usually post the photos in the following order: 1 overall photo of the grow, followed by two photos of the top bud of each plant, with the first capturing the entire top bud, and the second zooming in on the trichomes. Always starting with the Gorilla Glue, and then moving on to the two Strawberry Bananas. The Gorilla Glue is apparently ready for harvest, showing a considerable percentage of amber trichomes, signaling the ideal point. The taller Strawberry Banana still has a lot of energy to extract, it's very green. The same cannot be said for the other one. I also believe it’s entering the final stretch. I made some ties on it because it can't support the top buds on its own. Next week, I should bring records of the Gorilla Glue harvest.
