growercabelo Status: Stable. Even though this is a good season for this stage of the cycle, my city’s weather is very unpredictable. Temperatures can be around 19°C in the morning and reach 29°C in the afternoon. That will probably be the biggest challenge here.

growercabelo The cut was made just above the pair of upper fan leaves (visible in image_1.png). This technique removed the dominant vertical growth point, stimulating the two axillary shoots immediately below the cut to actively develop as new main branches. The plant is now in the early stage of forming a 'Y' structure, aiming to increase the number of colas and the overall yield.

growercabelo FIM pruning was done on May 2nd, and the plant seems to be recovering well. New growth is active, the side branches are responding, and overall health looks stable. Some stems are showing purple tones, probably related to genetics, light exposure, and the daily temperature swings in my city.
